So let's say a character has crushing weapons for hands (Golem hands) and he has martial arts already. If I got weapons master, would it improve how he uses his hands further?

Nah. Martial Arts is for non-weapon melee combat, and it sounds like that's what you have here. Weapon Master is for weapon-based melee combat (swords, axes, etc.).
