“I tell you what, Aang is may only be a little kid, but man can he fight. He took down the firelord during a comet! When he was his most powerful! Not to mention I took out fleets of airships while he was doing it though. Team Avatar is nothing to mess with!” Sokka screams in excitement.
“Well now it’s the NEW Team Avatar! Aang was a great Avatar and did many things but, he has nothing on Korra. I mean look at her. That long brown hair, those beautiful eyes, and that body.” Maku puts his face on his chin gazing off into the distance
“What does her being hot have to do with anything?” Sokka asks
“What? Oh, yeah the fight. Have you seen what she did to the equalists? Not to mention her Pro-bending matches. The girl is pretty impressive. Now she has air bending to add to her repertoire.”Maku says
“Pro-bending matches? Guys with electric gloves? That is nothing compared to what we did to the fire nation. We stopped a 100 year war! Korra won’t last 5 minutes with Aang if he doesn’t hold back!” Sokka replies angrily.
“What exactly did you do again Sokka? Throw your little boomerang and hide while the benders took care of the hard work? How about after Korra destroys Aang, you and I go toe to toe with your little boomerang?” Maku says confidently
“What did I do? I put together battle plans and took out fleets of fire nation airships! Little boomerang? I’ll show you little—“ Sokka is cut off and held back as he dives for Maku
“Calm down guys! Let’s focus on the fight that’s about to happen. Maybe we can set something up for you 2 afterwards. Let’s go down to to Toph, who is sitting with Aang. Toph?”
“Phenomenal, I’m standing here with Aang. Twinkletoes, what’s your plan for tonight?” Toph asks
“Toph, I’m over here.” Aang says as he taps on her shoulder to get her to look at him
“You and your twinkletoes. So what’s your plan.” She asks again.
“Well, I’m going to do my best and make sure no one gets hurt. And bring home the w for Team Avatar.” Aang says calmly
“Typical monk answer, back to you.” Toph says
“Ok well Korra declined to be interviewed so let’s get to the action! They will be fighting in lightly wooded forest environment. There will be some small streams and plenty of earth to bend. It is a little bigger than a football field. Both combatants entered the arena and they’re ready to go!”
There you have it! Aang vs Korra. It will be Aang directly after his fight with Ozai and Korra at the end of season 1 when she gets all of her abilities back. Win by ko, tko, or tap out. No outside interference and no Avatar state is allowed. Let me know who wins and why! Enjoy!

She can Earthbend and Waterbend. She just doesn't utilize them to the best of her ability.Aang. Easy. He's had more/better training. He's had more combat experience against more different kinds of combat. He knows how to airbend - Korra doesn't rightly. Korra only knows how to firebend, no other bending styles work for her.

Don't get me wrong I agree wholeheartedly that Aang wins. I am just saying that Korra is considered a master of both water and earth bending. She passed her tests, and has shown some decent feats. Not really. If you watch her fighting style, she only firebends. Sure she can waterbend, but she takes firebending stances and uses firebending techniques. Her earthbending is even worse. Meanwhile Aang is a good enough earthbender to sense vibrations and a waterbender to match Katara.

The set-up was funny, well-written, and definitely in character. If it was a bit longer, I'd give it an A, but as is, B. It needs to be fleshed out, and it doesn't really have much of a story.

Okay let me put like this! Aang was a reluctant hero that became a even greater hero in the end. While Korra isn't reluctant she's impulsive and reckless and that make her too dangerous and unworthy to live! She might as well say "Korra Smash!"
Aang wins this easily!
Damn, man. You don't think that's a bit harsh?

I probably should've used Aang at an earlier date. I thought Korra's aggressivness would've evened the playing field a little bit. Thank you all for the comments.

Pretty good set-up, Phenomenon, but it could've been expanded on a little more.
