Hi All

The price for me to keep the website up each month is $169.00 dollars. That's the server fee. On a yearly basis that is $2028 dollars I have to pay to keep the website up.

As much as I love keeping the website up it is kind of hard on me financially. So I will be putting a Pay Pal donation button on the site. If you feel like kicking in a few bucks to defray the cost it will be appreciated.

Also I'm going to put up a few Amazon links to deals which may be of interest. (as on the home page http://www.electricferret.com ) If you see a deal which interests you and you click on the link to buy it then we get some minor donation from Amazon which will also go towards the monthly hosting costs.

Anyways, as always, Electricferret in not a for-profit site but it is expensive to keep up so any help appreciated.

If you put a link to something on Amazon I'm interested in, I might be able to help that way. Pretty sure Pay Pal requires a credit card, so that option's out for me.

No... But I can order from Amazon, via gift certificates, from certain Coinstar machines.

Even if you don't link it to a bank account/credit card, I recommend opening a PayPal account since most Internet commerce works well with PayPal. If you ever plan on making any money online, it's a useful thing to have.

Also, personally, I wouldn't mind there being an ad or two somewhere on the site. I mean, I'm not sure how much traffic the site gets, but 160+ dollars is a lot to be dishing out every month. Anything to help ease the burden off you serge. Maybe even try merchandise? I'd love to buy an Electric Ferret t-shirt or something. Maybe have some artistic member design a tasteful design?

Anyways, expect some sort of donation from me. This site gives me way more enjoyment than a lot of the stuff I waste money on.

Never mind. I think I got it now. Bad thing is, I'm not interested in any of those things. I am buying quite a few of the New 52 books. Although, unfortunately, I already got Batman's. If you put more of those up, you'd get some revenue from me. I plan on preordering Batman and Robin and Batgirl's fairly soon.

DamagEdit: I'd have to order them by Monday, to still be able to preorder them.

The bots try to run ads, but I believe the thing is that if the site starts running a lot of ads, copyright issues come into play.
