Do Do Do, Dodo, do dodo do dododo. BWOOP!
Proto Man: Man…What is it with these humans these days… never doing anything for themselves…what a waste…
Captain America: What are you saying?
Proto Man: “And who might you be?” “Some big guy trying to look tough with some huge shield?”
Captain America: “Look who’s talking”.
Proto Man: Look dude, I get it, but just cut out the strong guy act already.
Captain America: You sure it’s just an act?
Proto Man: You really want to fight me?
Captain America: Sure, why not?
Proto Man: Ok then, let’s get this over with.
Captain America: I’ll show you what we “waste less humans” can really do.

Protoman is way too powerful for Captain America. He is able to lift over 100 tons as sen in MM5. And he is too durable for a punch to hurt him, however he could block attacks and even send that shield towards his arm cannon but that's about it

Welcome to electricferret, pinshadow. Hope you enjoy your stay here.
It's good to see that you're trying to make a set-up with these two characters, but it doesn't really make a lot of sense (Protoman and Cap are in the same place for no explained reason, and then suddenly they start fighting?) Next time, try to make more of a story out of your matches. Add more detail (why are the characters in conflict? where is this taking place?, etc.) and try to keep the combatants more in character. The good news is that you can edit your matches at any time, so you can try to improve on this story before rating ends on it.
As for the match, Protoman should be able to beat Steve, but somehow Cap will make a fight of it.

USER RATINGS
C
D There's an effort toward a set-up, but the story doesn't make sense, and both people are out of character.
C Try to improve your setup a bit next time, but you've done decently for your first match.
C All dialogue, no action.
SCORE
Protoman: 16
Captain America: 24
FPA: 1.8
