they meet in the desert. 16 17 and 18 are on the hunt for naruto but when they see gaara temari and kankuro walking through the desert they ask them where naruto is hiding and but the ninjas didn't tell them so android 17 says I guess i'll have to beat it out of you then so he charges to gaara, while18 shoots a blast to temari, kankuro charges to 16.
