Okay this i jut something I wanted to try with you seasoned RP players, Time RP is still on going and I hope I can keep it alive to bring a proper end to it and later on hopefully soon I'll releae Starfire Legacy, but this is just a quick and simple RP which is something of an experiment.

The concept is simple the following characters are blank slates and you have to fleash them out however there is a catch, you have to work with what little bit is known about them, the story is each of these characters are from a different time period or universe and all went to explore a lost temple.

The character types are as follows:

Fantasy thief type: A neer-do-well rogue at home in back alleys or catacombs, the thief is used to traps and knows how to move swiftly and silently may be part of a thieves guild or a solo operator, while he may be equipped more for stealth the thief is no slouch in combat either.

17th-18th Century Pirate: A murderous rogue of the high thieves while he may be more at home plundering ships and burning towns the pirate wont hesitate to do a little grave robbing, the pirate may have any kind of background prior pirate perhaps a former naval or merchant sailor.

1930s Pulp Adventurer: Your typical Indianna Jones/Doc Savage esque character, not one to hesitate to use fists might be a well educated scholor or jut someone who picked up a few tidbits of information. This individual is ued to dodging traps or shooting it out with rivals.

19th Century Explorer: Usually a gentelman of stature and renowned fame the explorer is at home in the velts of Africa, the jungles of the Amazon or the heights of the Himalayas, all in the name of science and knowledge of course. The explorer is ued to strange things it's what the explorer lives to find more about.

Greek Hero type: Just like the old tales this hero battles monsters and performs deeds of fame and valor, the hero is probably skilled with all manne rof weapons and knows how to fight everything from human foes to minotaurs, it matters not to him how long the quest lasts just that it is accomplished or dies trying.

SteamPunk adventurer: Not to be confused with the 19th century explorer though he may share some similar traits the Steampunk adventurer is from a world where steam and electricity are being utilized in new and creative ways and uses those inventions to help explore and find anwers or find wealth and fame, could be an explorer or an air pirate or mercenary.

The Rules: 1.No gamebreaking weapons no rotary chain guns, no rocket launchers, no magic arrows. I'm willing to allow some special weapons on a case by case basis so if you're unsure about something ask.

2.If you die you die, really this RP is intended to be short so expect a death or two.

3.Keep your character interesting try to put some effort into your character wants, desires, pasts, likes and dislikes etc. Be creative, (But please no split personalities that's been done to death)

4. GM get's limited called hits unless you trigger a trap that kills you then you're probably going to get a fighting chance to defend yourself but expect to get hurt.

5.Have Fun!

Stats: Will get those later if there is any interest being showed

The Story: Each of your characters for one reason or another entered "The Temple of the wise ones." what is within is unknown some say wealth, some weapons of incredible power, others knowledge of man, and others say terrors unimaginable. Regardles you go in to find something and within the winding tunnels you find yourself on one of the greatest adventures of your life.

Other Info: As I said earlier this RP will be short (I think) you will all start out separately but a few of you may join forces or try to kill each other when you meet.

I'll be nice and let you players have first pick but it is first come first serve. I'll take whichever characters are left if any if not then I'll gladly just sit on the sidelines and send obstacles your way.

Name: Garrett

Age: 35

Gender: Male

Backstory: A supposed master sneak thief, he has already made a living off his prowling and his profits. Garrett has been a pickpocket and sneak thief since his youth. During that time, he was recruited and then educated under the Thieves' Guild. He does not consider himself a murderer, but a master thief that only kills when needed. Larceny, burglary, and shilling are his specialties. He had a connection of fences to support his finances, but for the biggest heist he is planning, he'd swear to rely only on his wits and environment. He plans to reserve his estate for a successor. Whoever can become the best thief after he dies will be the successor. There is no such thing as honor among thieves. Only between the thief and the client.

Weapon(s): Throwing knives, stiletto, and cestus.

Other Equipment: Magical eye to assist him in his jobs (using a clairvoyant energy ONLY for tracking down the objective), boots and clothes to muffle movement, and shiny objects to be used as distraction.

Name: Alex Pelt Posted Image

Gender: Male

Age: 7

Backstory: Alex was very adventurous, intelligent, cunning, curious, and very...furry. You see, Alex, is actually a cat. Yes a cat. A very lucky and blessed cat, and I'll tell you why. Don't worry, It's not a very long story, it's not an epic or a saga, but It's still an interesting one...

The story starts on a rainy day in Bath, England. A very wealthy and kind engineer named, Alexander, and his wife, Diana, were caught in the rain. They didn't mind it much, but a frail and small kitten did, which meowed in distress, as the couple past by. They almost didn't hear it, through the pouring rain, but the kitten meowed again. Alexander heard something, but wasn't sure what it was, he thought he was going crazy, but then the kitten meowed once more. Alexander then turned to his wife, was he crazy? No, she heard it too and once again the kitten meowed again. This time they were sure, a cat! They searched the ally next to them and with the help of a few more 'meows', they found the wet little kitten.

Skip a few years, and some extraordinary things have happened. The wet little kitten became so intelligent that he was able to read, write and even talk the english languge. Alexander and his wife, really did love the kitten as their very own. So much infact that Alexander taught the kitten everything he knew about inventing. The cat took everything in and soon enough he was an advet inventor himself, taking the name of "Little Alex". Alexander then started to look for a better source of energy, rather then just steam and electricty, but something that would last longer and run their machines to the fullest. Alexander and Alex found hints of such a thing in passeges of old books. They researched till they discovered the location of this tresure, but Alexander strangly fell ill and couldn't physically move. So it was up to "Little Alex" to ffind the treasure and bring it home.

Weapons:

Teeth and claws.

Twin parrying daggers from france as 'birth-day' preseant.

A beefy .60 cal. rotarty hand-cannon. 5 cylinders, 5 shots. Hand-cranked to set up a charge, so it takes a while to fire off a shot, but can charge it early if needed.

Other Equipment:

Telescopic googles-- Can see even larger distances, and helps his natural 'night-vision'.

Fancy tophat-- Can be used as storage. Hides his hand-cannon and pair of mechaincal hands, that are as strong and dexterious as your average man.

Fancy Sleeves-- Spring loaded sleeves that increase jumping ablity and strength.

Name: Alex Pelt

Gender: Male

Age: 7

Backstory: Alex was just a spry, adventuress...Cat. Yes, a cat. It's not that long a story really. He was just a plain house cat with the will to learn and learn he did of his late master's inventions. He always stayed by his side, reading the words, learining to speak, undrerstanding the engierring process of creating eleabrote machines; but as such, his master fell ill and left his entire foruntne to his cat...So the cat took it upon himself to honor his late master's wishes, which was to find a secret treasure, told to be a source for infinite engery. Which would prove useful in creating even more incridible machines.

Weapons: Claws and teeth...and his small .60 calibur handcannon that's hidden in his hat.

Other Equipment: A telescopic monicle, a hat that hides a handcannon(5 shots) and two mechical hands, and spring loaded sleeves for greater jumping ability and strength.

Hmm interesting Ham, I'll allow the handcannon provided it takes a bit of time between shots

(WIP)

Character Sheet:

Name: Alexandra "Alex" Remington
Posted Image

Age: 36(around 1936-38)

Gender: Female

Backstory: Born an immigrant from Ireland in the late 1900's, she was the only child in a poor hard-working family. Her father went to war to earn a home and respect. She struggled however it wasnt until she needed to raise herself on the streets after her parents were killed in a scuffle, that she tured desperate. Left without a home, little money, and noone to help her she took what jobs she could get. Namely illegal ones, and did she find one that could pay in bootlegging. It was here she founded the persona of 'Alex' Remington, a tough-as-nails if "colorful" muscle-for-hire. She played the dual roles of a beautiful and seductress frontwoman, allowing her to negotiate and pick jobs at face value. One switch into a tux or sweater later and Alex was ready for a job. One day she met a collector who was less interested in booze and more interested in artifacts. She agreed to expand her horizons, and with this her new life job was made. Eventually her dual role was figured out by her employer, but in the end that only allowed him to maximize the Remington's effectiveness. A few lessons in ancient civilizations and antiquities and the sort later later she was half scholar-half soldier and ready to go treasure hunting. After a few years of outfoxing or overpowering everyone from the germans to english adventurers she is tasked with finding what he believed to be unimaginable wealth. Weapons and wits at the ready, she took the task without a second of hesitation.

Weapon(s) up to three:
*modified Colt 1911A1 aka "Baby Thompson": select-fire( safety,semi-auto,full-auto), slide-on thompson pistol grip, chambered for super .38 for light armor penetration. Regular magazine size is 9, extended magazine is 24.-- Alex was very familiar with the various weaponry of the roaring 20's and following depression. However some things don't translate well from the street to the jungle when your a female, no matter how well in shape she is. Still she wanted an automatic edge and during a return trip to america, she got in contact with a friend who had the ticket for her. An old mobster trick by this point she took a trusted 1911 and modified it to fire much more than anyone facing down the barrel would expect, naturally she took a liking to the handheld machinegun over the hefty tommy gun or BAR she considered bringing on her "excursions" originally. Keeps in shoulder holster.

*modified Winchester 1901 shotgun: chambered in 10 gauge, fires both buckshot and slugs. 5 round tube magazine. Cutdown barrel and stock replaced with pistol grip.-- An old relic left by his father, when it was time to transport booze the power seemed a no-brainer but she knew she needed something a bit smaller. A few adjustments later and even her frame could hide lots of firepower under a big enough coat or in a decently sized box. When it came time for jungle walks and globe trotting, the compactness and deadliness continued to assist in her endeavors. Wears on back holster.

*Trench Knife: Another gift from dear old dad. Alex proved quite the hand to hand combatant, and a knife atop brass knuckles only assisted in her right hook and stab combo. While she does have some experience with grappling due to some friends in far-off countries she is a striker at heart and always has this blade/bludgeon combo on her person in belt sheath.

Other Equipment:

*Backpack: Based off an old WW1 era pack, big opening and pouches that holds rations, ammo, and other important stuff, always room for some treasure.

*machete: Alex never thought she could get used to the leaves and extra forest, but some muscle behind a cutting blade she found tended to handle the problems. Sharp enough to cut any vine, she keeps this on a loop on her backpack.

*Flares: Both for signal and flare gun. Even the best have to let their situation known if things go sour.

*Flashlight: circa 1930, enough batteries for one replacement.

Overall it looks good but I'm a bit dubios about the machine pistol though, I'll allow the machete for the equipment slot since technically a machetes primary purpose is an agricultural tool

Cool. Hmm, well as a limitation the autofire function could be a bit...jumpy. Overkill or miss style if the trigger squeeze is too much. Id take rolling for jams as well, though if your real not sure then I can look for an alternate sidearm. Though is it just the design or the fact that it'd be an automatic weapon?

Fun about the machete.

Hmm, I think the muzzle climb and possible jam would be fine on limiting it otherwise I think that'd do it.
