But then the Space Jockey felt a sharp pain in his chest. What the Space Jockey didn’t know before he left, was that he had gotten impregnated by a Facehugger. The last thing the Space Jockey saw was a Chestburster coming out of his chest. With the Space Jockey now dead, there was no one piloting the ship.
A day later, the space ship was now heading towards Earth. As the ship entered Earth’s atmosphere, it was now heading towards Skull Island: Home to King Kong and many other creatures. Soon the ship had crash landed in the middle of the island.
After a few seconds, the wall to the ship was torn open from the inside, and coming out of the ship was a Giant Full-Grown Xenomorph. The Space Jockey Alien looked around and picked up the scent of the creatures on the island. With that, the Giant Xenomorph decided to kill every last creature on Skull Island.
---------
So there you have it.
Notes:
-This is the version of Skull Island from the 2005 King Kong movie.
-In order for the Space Jockey Alien to win, the Giant Xenomorph needs to kill King Kong, the natives, and every creature on Skull Island.
-In order for Skull Island to win, King Kong, the natives, and/or the creatures needs to kill the Space Jockey Alien.
Who do you think will win?

Is the Space Jockey Alien just a much bigger version of the standard human-born Alien?
I don't know... You tell me.

Is there anything special about it other than it's size, because if not, Kong could take it out, providing he learns to avoid it's blood, which he would. There are plenty of rocks and trees for him to use as longer-ranged weapons, plus the rest of the island's inhabitants who will cause the Alien trouble, so unless it's got a trick up it's sleeve it wont win this.

In short terms: the gorilla (Kong) gets ripped apart.
Regular dinosaurs won't be too big a threat, one bite and their mouth fills with acid blood. However, the Xeno could be in trouble if it wanders into a large insect nest.

And even if the other inhabitants of the island, and Kong himself, don't take out the Alien themselves, and lose to the Alien in their individual fights, they will probably get in at least one or two hits. And if you add all of those injuries up, then you get, after a while, one big, dead Alien.
But, again, i'm not positive on all that.

I don't think it can lay eggs, it's not a Queen.
No but it is confirmed that when alone, a single Xenomorph can turn into a Praetorian, which then later molts into a Queen.
Either way, if there is one, it's going to turn into a Queen and lay eggs.

Would that be the case for the Space Jockey Alien, though, considering it's not really part of any hive?

The Xenomorph's main goal is to survive and propgate it's own species. It's own morphology and biology actually demands that.
So why wouldn't it be able to turn into a Queen and lay eggs?

So any Xenomorph can just up and choose to become a Queen? From what i know, one in several is born a Praetorian, but if the situation called for it, like, say, if there were only a few Xenomorphs left at one point, then one of them would essentially force itself to evolve into one.
You just essentially backed up what I was saying, and this was even shown in Alien vs Predator 3 (2010) when the Empress had been killed by a Colonial Marine known as the Rookie. It was then shortly after that the Hive which was active on BG-386 had been exterminated but there was just one sole surviving Xenomorph-- Specimen 6.
Specimen 6 was a Warrior type Xenomorph, but displayed remarkable intelligence. However, when the Empress was killed, the situation called for the species to propogate.. Specimen 6 evolved into a Queen.
