THE GREAT CBUB CHAIN STORY: Part 1

"Hey, what's all the commotion about?"

Hal Jordan, the greatest green lantern to ever live, received no answer. Pushing his way through the massive crowd, he made his way to the center. Getting close enough, Hal suddenly stopped. His eyes widened with both shock and anger, while his hands clenched with rage. Before him, a bloody cowl laid. A cowl which could only belong to one man. A man who happened to be quite close to him. The Batman. Besides the torn garment was a note. Moving quickly, Hal bent down to pick it up.

To the Heroes of Khazan,
A new force is upon you,
All will despair,
You'll do what you do,
But know that the world is unfair...

War Journal: June 4th, 2012

The city of Khazan has always made me feel... uneasy. Maybe it's the fact that there are so few average people here, or maybe it's the fact that the city is filled with the most dangerous criminals in the known universe, but for whatever reason, the city just isn't on my list of favorite vacation spots.

But today was different. Today the entire place was in an uproar. Some new group or individual is on the loose. Sure, fights happen everyday here, and insurance is impossible to get, but now it's different. Heroes are being killed. And not just the small fry, but some of the big names too. Rumors of someone catching Batman are spreading. I don't really care what happens to one guy, but its making all the small time crooks and scum bolder. In this city of "heroes", the little guys tend to get overlooked. Not while I'm here...

"Major! Don't!"

Major Armstrong was not known for ignoring the cries of women, but in this case, he had to. Someone had planted bombs throughout the State's largest maximum security prison and now a massive number of rogues were loose. If he acted now and caught a few, maybe he could save some lives down the line.

"Doc, look who's behind us!", a voice ahead cried out.

"It seems like it's Major Armstrong.Well gentlemen, it would be most rude of us to not give him a little piece of our time."

Alex Louis Armstrong stopped. The burning prison behind him only gave him a small amount of light, and from the sound of things, he was dealing with more than one foe.

"It's the major??! Oh man, I think I have a little more in mind than just words..."

Major Armstrong threw off his coat and slipped on his metal alchemy gloves. Taking a battle stance, he narrowed his eyes, searching for his foes...

Great start to the story. Looking forward to how Force Echo continues it. Armstrong could take out most of the Six. Although Sandman and Electro will be very hard. Of course he can simply outsmart them and has the power to come up with a way to win.

The way you incorperated many characters and made it as vauge as possible made it really work for what we're trying to do here. And the story is still good by itself. Super good work.

I agree he made it possible too use other characters with Hal Jordan's part and the Journal entry which honestly could be someone like Punisher's or anybody else for use to use.

Good start to the chain. Alex could probably use some back-up here. Not sure he can take all of these villains down himself.

Good set-up, Marvel Man. Very nice start to your CBUB Chain Story arc.

As for the match, after looking up Alex, I think he'd do very well against most of the Sinister Six. As mentioned, though, he'd probably have an especially tough time against Sandman and Electro.
