Spider-Man vs Ghost Rider
After MODOK and Arnim Zola accidently sent every Marvel hero to a strange alternate dimension which sends everyone who enters it insane. The latest visitors to the alternate dimension are web-slinging hero Spider-Man, and flaming demon-hunter Ghost Rider.
Spider-Man: Woah! Where am I? Wait, Ghost Rider? Is that you?
Ghost Rider: Spider-Man? How did you get here?
Spider-Man: I was going to ask you the same thing. All I remember is that I was fighting this big blob thing.
Ghost Rider: Same here. I got eaten, and then I ended up here.
Spider-Man: There's something about this place... I keep on hearing voices in my head, taunting me.
Ghost Rider: Yeah, me too... Aaaaargh!
Ghost Rider is infected with the insanity and falls to the floor in agony.
Spider-Man: Ghost Rider! What's wrong?
Ghost Rider burns Spider-Man with his Hellfire.
Ghost Rider: It's time to pay for your sins, Peter Parker! You may act like the big hero, when in fact, you're no better than the supervillains you fight!
Spider-Man: What are you talking about?
Ghost Rider: The Symbiote, Civil War.... your precious Uncle Ben.
Spider-Man: Leave him out of this! That wasn't my fault!
Ghost Rider: Cut the act, Peter! We all know how guilty you feel. Well I am here to punish the guilty! BUUUUURN!!!!!!
Spider-Man and Ghost Rider find themselves stuck after Ghost Rider's chain gets stuck to Spider-Man's webs. Spider-Man struggles back and then jumps and goes flying towards Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider stylishly backhands Spidey and sends him flying. Spider-Man gets up and prepares to fight Ghost Rider. Who will win?
Next time: Two captains go head to head! Or, shield to head.

*Shrugs* I wasn't a fan of Ghost Rider to begin with so I wouldn't knowI haven't seen either movie, so I guess I'm clueless. I heard they were horrible, so I kept my distance. I can only imagine how they have ruined and warped the once great character though.

CBUB, get this throught your thick head: Ghost Rider only goes after those who have shed innocent blood. If you want to make a match with him, you either use a character that has shed innocent blood in the past, or you warp a character so that he/she sheds innocent blood in the setup.
Without CBUB-induced PIS, Ghost Rider simply leaves Spider-Man alone, because that's the way the character works.

Ghost Rider would never go after Spider-Man.

Again with the flag waving.
It also seems that you're, on top of your usual idiocy, unable to read. The setup explains quite nicely why Ghost Rider is going for Spider-Man, and Spider-Man does have innocent blood on his hands, which makes your entire point completely moot.

Uncle Ben's death was the Burglar's fault, not this. "Death by inaction" is NOT something Ghost Rider punishes.
Civil War? That was Iron Man's fault. Spidey only spend a very brief amount on time on the Pro-Registration side before he quickly switched to the Anti-Registration side. And in any case, he didn't enjoy it or truly believe in the Superhuman Registration Act like Maria Hill did. If Ghost Rider should go after ANYONE, it should be Maria Hill, he truly enjoyed hunting down the Anti-Registration side and truly believe in the SHRA. She was one of the meanest, most sadistic and implacable villains during the Civil War, reminiscent of the Smoking Man from "The X Files", yet she got away from the whole deal scott free, and now we are supposed to see her as some kind of heroine. Or, you know, he could go after Iron Man himself.
As for the symbiote, that is more the symbiote's fault than Peter's fault, and Ghost Rider should know.
To give you an idea of how Ghost Rider works, he wouldn't even attack Hulk during "World War Hulk" because he knew that the Illuminate were the ones that were truly responsable for the death of innocents during the event.
Furthermore, yes, it's just a story. Which why all this "flag waving" and "agustinaldo sucks" astounds me. You are taking all of this far more seriously than it deserves. This is just a fricking internet site, you are all acting like I touched your children or something, The only ones "getting their pants on a bunch" is people like sirmethos here. I'm actually quite relaxed, because I know not to take stuff on the internet so seriously. So...chill out.

For the love of god, the reason Ghost Rider is going after Spidey is because he's gone insane! Why is that so hard to believe? And I think you're the one who's taking all this too seriously. I mean, yes, this is just a website, and some people do take it a bit too seriously, but at least they know what they're talking about and bother to read the set-ups!
