Just wondering something..
If Black Bolt yelled as loud as he could at somebody like Galactus who would be powered up fully at the time would that in turn seriously injure galactus? If he was point blank in the face of Galactus and yelled at that range what would the outcome be?
Could Black Bolt's yell knock out Superman if he was standing less than 10 feet in front of him?
Just wondering what you guys think.

I'm still not convinced it would knock out Superman. Namor did put up with one at such a distance just fine...although to be fair that was a Skrull imitating Bolt's power but still...

The Skrull replacements were much weaker than the original heroes. Ms. Marvel took out a Sentry Skrull.

I think it would give Galactus a major hangover level headache, at least. And superman would be obliterated, just gone.

I though his yell had the same effect of a nuclear warhead...there was a scan I saw once of what happened when he yelled before..i know he knocked the hulk out with a whisper.

Superman has been put down by much weaker in the past.
In House of M, Black Bolt obliterated Apocalypse with a barely-audible whisper. A full-powered scream would wreck Superman.
Edit: Black Bolt has ripped holes in reality with his screams, too. And Sentry didn't want to fight Black Bolt because he knew his voice could damage him.

galactus is at ground zero of an explodeing planet everytime he eats lunch what makes you think this would even notice this hell he has has witness the destruction of a galaxy from ground zero and was unharmed you think that would hurt him .

In the past, yeah, but DC's been re-powering the character for a while now to the point he can withstand supernovas and black holes with little physical damage. I doubt Black Bolt's scream would obliterate Superman, maybe knock him out or severely hurt him. He's taken attacks that can rip holes in realities before, also, Sentry doesn't have the durability feats Superman has.

It would do nothing to Galactus.
As for Supes, I think it would do some damage. Superman has heightened hearing to the point he can hear heart beats. Wonder bra took advantage of this by ear clapping him, and he was definetly in agony.

To further enhance this question is Black Bol'ts yell simply SOUND or is it energy itself? What exactly is the yell composed of?
