Doom sat upon his throne contemplating his past failures due to the worlds heroes. He had recently learned of a world parallel to this Earth. It had many similarities but also many differences. It seemed to have its own class of heroes. So Doom sat forth to learn more about this Earth. He visited and blended with the new world while observing its heroes. He learned about the landmarks and cities and chose his targets carefully. Doom began to amass an army of allies that shared his thoughts on taking this new world for themselves. After gathering the resources and information needed they made their move.

It all happened so fast. Attacks came from every where and no one knew what hit them. The League couldn't compensate for the numerous attacks by villians they had never encountered. The battled raged on furiously between what the League came to call the Masters of Evil. They took over cities and destroyed everything opposing them ruthlessly. One by one the League members were either killed or captured. Batman was leading the fight, directing the heroes to the best availiable positions but the devestation was so great and so quick even Batman was overwhelmed with what to do. When the green cloaked metal clad individual broadcast the execution of Wonder Woman, that is when Bruce lost it. Explosions rained debris down all around him and Bruce just stared in horror at the hologram projected into the sky. Wonder Woman hung, body limp, from her own lasso. The sight brought tears to the heroes eyes and a rage began to build. A nearby explosion sent Batman soaring through the sky. Shrapnel riddled him, his suit protected him but not completely. Rising to his feat, blood running down his face he sounded the retreat. These new villians didn't know where the Batcave was so he designated that as the fall back base. With cities in ruins and these new villians running the world the heroes had to hide and creep through the cities to get out and get to the cave. In the after math of the battle the Masters of Evil proclaimed marshal law over the entire planet. The world was now in their control.

4 Years later...

Batman sat secluded in the shadows of his own living quarters in the cave. Many other heroes now lived inside the cave as well. Many had nowhere else to go. Others decided to brave it out in the outskirts of the ruined cities. Bruce had studied and prepared for a final fight with what had come to be called the Masters of Evil. It would either be all or none. They would either save the world or die trying. Most of the world had been enslaved or killed. The League was able to slow the villians progress and at times win small battles but nothing that was permanent. Now was the time, Bruce called the heroes to the meeting room. Upon the vid screen he pointed out his plan. He showed the weak points to the villians defenses. Looking each and everyone of them in the eye he told them that today many may die but what would the Earth be if they didn't try.
Setting out the team made no efforts to conceal their presence this time. The sun was setting as they entered the city. They blasted there way through robots and clones, making there way to the villians headquarters. They had used the one place in Gotham that sat ominously in the skyline. Arhkam Asylum had proven a formidable fortress for the Dooms Headquarters. Batman directed his attacks towards the front doors of the Asylum. As they made there march towards the fortress the darkness of night began to set in. As the heroes neared the building a sudden explsion of scarlet light and smoke erupted on the steps of the colossal building. When the smoke cleared the Masters of Evil stood defiant and ready to battle for there kingdom. Doom announced he had been waiting for this moment. He knew there were still heroes that believed they could take back their world. He had planned but had no idea they would be so rash in there final attack.

The fight takes place at night in the ruins of Gotham city. The fight can be scattered anywhere in the city. The Justice League is prepared to do whatever it takes to save the Earth.

Let me just type out some initial thoughts... Dr. Fate going to have a tough time with Loki. Hopefully, Baron Mordo doesn't jump in.

Everybody's going to say that Black Adam will destroy all of them but Ultron, Doom and Loki would have something to say about that.

If they gang up on them, The Wrecking Crew can murder Nightwing and Huntress and I guess Robin too.

Lady Deathstrike might gut Aquaman.

If Martian Manhunter is vulnerable to some kind of radiation, Radioactive Man can take him out.

Grey Gargoyle may spell trouble for Plastic Man.

That's it for now just to get the debate going. I haven't voted yet.

Excellent setup. I'll give you a A because I enjoyed it very much and it was nice. Only a few minor spelling and grammer mistakes. Now as far as the match is concerned I believe the heroes can win and due to there situation I don't think anybody on the hero team will be holding back. In addition with having ruled the world more then likely Doom seems already he kind of overestimated how far the heroes will go in there final battle.

Doctor Fate and Zatanna can take out Loki as both combined have the magic power to do so. Batman, Robin, Steel, and Nightwing together with a plan they have put together already take out Dr.Doom. Cyborg and Green Arrow together with there technology shut down Ultron with most likely a device they have built to shut his systems down. Both have dealt with Amazo and have shown they can deal with such things. Supergirl, Aquaman, and Vixen easily take out the Wrecking Crew. Captain Marvel speed blitzes and handles most of the others.

Green Lantern, Doctor Light, Captain Atom, Black Adam, and Martian Manhunter literally clean house folks. Those 5 take care of any villain left standing who is still causing trouble and gives them a hell of a beating in battle.

one thing to consider, is that this is the JLU, rather than the Justice League from the comics, they are quite a bit less powerful than their comic counterparts.

That may be true but there still powerful enough to get the job done. I loved JLU as it was a good adaption of the DC Universe itself.

Well this is actually the comic versions of the characters but this was the only team that could incompass all the characters I wanted to use.

Interesting setup and match. You get an A from me. I will add that two questions/comments;

• I do like the "final battle" aspect of the story, but what has changed for the heroes to win? How did they lose in the first place?
• It would have been nice to have some villain/villain interaction as well if they are invading DC.

I think the fight is closer than people have mentioned so far, especially with the likes of Doom and Loki balancing the power of Executioner and the Wrecking Crew. But ultimately, the powers that the League can bring to the fight (particularly with Manhunter, Marvel, Fate, Hal, Adam and Zatanna) will win them this fight.
