The Deadly Alliance, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, teleport to Middle Earth. As it appears, the Witch King of Angmar appears before them, as they wish to gain an audience with Sauron. Their plan was to ally with Sauron and turn him against Shao Kahn and Shinnok, and therefore gain freedom and rule jointly, at least for a time, over the Netherworld and Outworld, conquering the Realms until they were forced to turn onto eachother. However, Sauron had seen in his Palantir that they were planning against him. He sent the Witch King of Angmar to execute them for their insolence.

Qaun Chi and Shang Tsung were surprised to see the Witch King simply draw his sword on their request for an audience. "Now you will both die." The Witch King curses, before he attacks.

The DA could probably pull off a win, if they get close enough.

No disrespect but a lot of you guys now are just throwing up four or five lines and then wonder why people are not commenting on the match. I am not an expert by any means yet one thing I think some need to start understanding that what gets a lot of people here to comment is NOT the fact that you throw up a battle its what you give them to stimulate the thought.

Just because its a character that you know or you think is popular some of these characters have been used a LOT to the point where a lot of people are actually looking for a good set up. That is what they want here GOOD SETUPS not just a popular character that people know in any fight.

As I said, I am not the best setup guy here but I try to put some effort into it once I do set up a battle. if you guys seriously can't write any better than this then understand a lot of votes and comments you wont get. There is no way that with any basic schooling in most public schools that nobody could write better than this. I think most of the people posting now just aren't willing to put in the effort.

So dont be surprised if your battles dont get comments. You got to give to get. Even I know that.

I've said before that I think the MK characters are terribly underrated here. These guys have shown some pretty amazing feats including ripping people apart, crazy magic and the ability to withstand some heavy duty pain. Am definitely giving this to the DA

C
D This should really be a rumble. For me, the point of a set-up is to have an interesting reason for the fight. It should entertain me as well as make me think about who would win in a fight, but this one really doesn't. The biggest problem here is that you simply don't follow the "show, don't tell" rule. You don't show why they want to get more power, they just do. Did they lose horribly to someone in a fight? Did someone pick at them at school, and they want to exact revenge? I think there should be some reason for their search for power, instead of them just simply searching for it. In the future, I'd make this fight a rumble, or expand on it.
