Both are at 100% and are fighting over Earth in space away from the planet. Jean Grey has returned to life on Earth in Marvel and once again she has become the Phoenix. The Phoenix is hell bent on destroying the Earth and the galaxy this time but Sentry who has returned himself from the grave is there to stop it as he no longer has to worry about the Void screwing around with his brain. Does he succeed as these two powerhouses clash in space with one wanting to protect the galaxy and the other destroy it.
Battle on Earth:
On Earth another battle has happened as the Avengers want to make sure if Sentry kills Jean Grey as the Phoenix then Phoenix force no longer has any human body to bond to. So they plan on killing Rachel Summers and Hope Summers the only other two capable of becoming the Phoenix if Jean Grey dies. The X-Men of course are against this so both the X-Men's best forces are battling the Avenger's best forces to the death.

no way can sentry take phoenix she rips him apart before he can even touch her.Sentry can take Phoenix, but only just. Thor tips the scale for The Avengers on Earth.

why does Sentry get to be his stable self, but Jean Grey DOESN'T get to be HER stable self?
People (especially here) keep forgetting that there is more to Jean Grey than Dark Phoenix. She spend a large amount of time as Good Phoenix, and she's also White Phoenix, defender of the universe.
That's like expecting for Superman to always go evil just because he went evil ONCE during "Superman Rex".

OK, quick question:

You realize for this match I didn't say it was Dark Phoenix? Just letting you know. Most people probably don't use Jean Grey as the Phoenix because she is more powerful so to use her in a match you would have a hard time giving her a equal opponent.
I picked Sentry because Sentry at 100% stable mind as been said at his highest he could be on a Dark Phoenix level or once again depending on his mind on a Silver Surfer level. So he is not far from Jean Grey when she is the Phoenix if he is at a Dark Phoenix level.
