Who do you think is Peter Parkers true love?

As a Spiderman fan its Gwen Stacy. Its been shown many times Gwen will always be his first and true love.

there has been some hints about it being gwen but i always thought it was much more realistic for it to be mary jane i mean after all he was only with gwen for like what 90 issues how attached could he had gotten. but mary jane had been with him on and off for 41 years no thats love lol.

House of M. Gave everyone on Earth the perfect life they all wanted. Guess who was married to Parker? Gwen. End of story.

House of M also had Wolverine hooking up with Mystique. What happened to his army of ex ladies? Clearly House of M is not a reliable source of heart's desires.

For that you have to look at One More Day. Peter's real love is Aunt May. Case closed.

No House of M is a good source. Wolverine's perfect life had him knowing who he was or maybe not going through the weapon x program or some other thing. So the way his life went he probably didn't end up in Japan or with some of his ex's.

When it comes to Wolverine his mind is so screwed up who knows what his perfect life would be to him.

House of M makes a very good pint in Gwen's favor. There's also the fact that Gwen's death haunts Peter almost as much as his Uncle Ben's. Other characters have died due to his actions or inactions and didn't haunt him nearly as much. Plus Peter was willing tos sell MJ up the river for his dinosaur of an Aunt. I'm pretty sure May would've tod him not to and Peter would know this and he still did it. That doesn't sound like true love to me.

House of M didn't give everyone their true desire, where'd you get that? If it did, then humans wouldn't be hunted down and exterminated by mutants.

Have you actually read One Last Day? Peter gave up his marriage to Mary Jane because he felt that their love was stronger than Mephisto's curse, and that they would eventually end up back together. It was a joint decision.

Mutants ruled the world in House of M with Magneto's family as the Rulers and almost everybody did get there perfect life. Only humans that didn't follow the rules paid the harsh price if I remember correctly.

I guess Peter was wrong because him and Mary Jane have still not gotten back together.

You remembered wrong. Part of the point of the story was that humans were hunted down in the same manner mutants were.

I know, I read Spider-Man comics too. Just because they haven't gotten back together yet doesn't mean Peter was wrong.

IMO, he loved Mary Jane more.

He was younger when he was with Gwen, so he might have thought he loved her. In all honesty, who knows?

I think that her death haunts him more than most deaths is because she was pretty close to him and he was responsible for her death.

If the same thing would have happened tro Mary Jane I'm sure he'd be haunted even more so than he is with Gwen.


Edit: Also, In House of M, Peter suffers from mental health issues..I'm sure that's not what his heart desires most.

Peter's mental health issues really have nothing to do with the fact Gwen was his true love. If his heart desired Mary Jane most then it would have been her but it wasn't.

Mary Jane > Gwen as far as Peter's affections go, IMP.

In the Ultimate Comics, Peter loved MJ more. (If I'm not mistaken)
