Once-more she follows his steps, making sure she never presents anything other than her front to him.

"This again?" she asks curiously.

Nicholi edged closer with each circling step.

"Nobody's stupid enough to try and rush you."

"Heh, you'd be suprised." she says, actually matching him step for step. Though she'd stop if they got within three feet of each other.

Once they got at the three foot mark Nicholi stopped. He listened to her heartbeat. Waiting for it to quicken an indicate an attack. He watched her center. Waiting for a sign of movement.

Cat likewise looked over her opponent. Her heartbeat was already fairly quickly from the fight so far so any extra jump wouldn't be too noticeable. What he could notice was that slowly but surely she balled her hands into fists. Perhaps a change of technique. If Nicholi had yet to strike he would see her begin to sway back.

With her change up Nicholi's hands opened in return. He seemed to be putting his center of gravity away from her. Almost leaning away.

Cat slowly watched him switch stances as well. He didn't want to be thrown apparently. Cat appeared to be getting antsy and her arms were poised as if to grab. She wanted his attention up-top. As she seemed to lunge, in fact she again tried a feint and with little warning would give a quick low kick before she got her arms close enough for him to grab, she aimed to connect with the outside of Nicholi's right knee.

Nicholi took the low kick with little trouble. A bit of a twitch when it connected but not much. When her hands were close enough to grab he sent a right straight out with the middle finger bent to place all impact in that small point. It was aimed at the closest hand. It wasn't much but it could be wearing on her arms.

Sturdy stance, Cat figures that out the hard way. As he sends out the...single finger, Cat would redirect it harmlessly to the outside(the natural way his shoulder goes outward) at the wrist with her other hand and attempt to follow through by gripping the hand tightly. By this point she returned her foot to it's stance position.

With her holding his wrist Nicholi would go for a side kick to Cat's abdomen on the side below her gripping arm. While pulling with his gripped hand.

Cat knew she was in trouble. Him having enough ground to yank her in was enough of a problem, she didn't even see the leg coming, but she knew she couldn't waste time to think. She held ono his wristt however, and as she took a first step forward and unbalanced, instinctively wind begins to form and with a leap as well as some assist from her powers she jumps high into the air. She clears with enough height to jump Nicholi with ease and she aimed to land behind Nicholi as he was busy with his side kick. If she landed well enough she'd move in to get Nicholi in a wrist/elbow lock from behind his back and start wrenching at his arm in hopes of either making him hunch over or force him down to the ground.

As Cat jumped over Nicholi he used his left foot still in the ground as an anchor for leverage and brought back his kick. Swinging his foot down and left foot planted Nicholi would try to use his superior strength to try and Whip Cat back in front and into the ground.

The whiplash succeeds in knocking Cat off-trajectory and breaking her grip on his wrist. She goes forward, reflexively shooring an airblast at Nicholi's face to send her out of his grappling range. If this worked she'd land on all-four and send a crescent air blast to the heels of Nicholi's feet to take out his legs from under him with hopes he was still unbalanced and would land flat on his face.

Nicholi kept an angry glare as he was blasted in the face and pushed forward to keep himself up. The crescent kick however caught his heels and he ended up helping himself fall forward. Catching himself on all fours he glares at Cat. Growling.

Cat was a bit off-put by the growling.

"Easy Fido." she mutters, wondering whats wrong with him. Nonthless she catches gets to her feet and catches her breath rather than trying for a coup de grace. For ebtteer or worse, she'd trust he didn't try anything before they were ready for another go. More time to strategize

Nicholi's eyes focused as he realized his growling. He stood up with his feet still in the holes. He cleared his throat. "*Ahem* Sorry. Instinct." He moved back into stance.

"Umm, right." Cat says, ignoring the comment. Making sure her stance was solid, she'd see if he wanted offense this round. "Whenever your ready."

Nicholi wanted to try something. Perhaps not the bbest idea but it might work. He stepped to his right out of the holes. About three feet to his right was the bar. He put himself on the balls of his feet. Satisfied he turned his palm up and beckoned her with his index finger. "Lets go."

Cat had no idea on earth what he was going to try. he moved into some position, but she could see no real tactial advantages to it. She decided to have some fun with it however, see if she could catch him offguard. With a leap, she jumps on top of the actual bar table, a good six feet from Nicholi, in stance and looking at Nicholi, waiting to see what he did about it.
