...is back. Once again, we will separate the men from the boys. Welcome all to the second monthly writing challenge introduced to the CBUB. Let’s do it again…

The Premise

Monthly, I will post a writing challenge on this portion of the forums. Anybody who wants to write on the CBUB is able to participate. To participate simply create a match that follows the challenge rules to the CBUB main page. Then post a link to that fight on this page. Only one entry per contestant. There will be a two week deadline to post your match. Miss the deadline? Better luck next month. Three judges will pick their favorite matches based on creativity, uniqueness and all that writing mumbo jumbo. The Top Three winners will be announced here with the main winners fight going to the Official CBUB Hall Of Fame board as the writer of the month.

The Deadline

The April Challenge will take place between the days of April 8^th through the 21st. The judges will deliberate and the winner will be announced on the 27^th.

The Challenge/Rules

Two genres (Comics vs. Fantasy literature, Movies vs. Video Games, Anime toons vs. Loony toons, etc...) have gone to war. Which genres, is up to you. Why? Up to you. What kind of war? Up to you. Two warriors from both sides of this war have met on the battlefield. The catch: Both these warriors must be unused characters in the database. That means, no wins, no loses, no matches. No nothing. Gotta use characters that have never seen the light of day in a match. Congratulations. Have fun.

This challenge should be slightly more difficult than last month and hopefully will increase in difficulty as monthly challenges pass. So, start giving us some ideas because as you should’ve read this starts soon. If you have any questions regarding this months challenge, post them here and stay tuned.
