The Elder warrior shook with a tremendous excitement that he could barely contain. Truly, this prey was a challenge which he had been seeking for sometime. The skill, the speed and the powers which this prey possessed were enough to keep the Elder on his toes, and it even forced him to use all of the experience and the training which he had put himself under in order to better himself. Had the Yautja not endured the self imposed training regimen, he probably would not have come this far. Right now he was feeling more than thankful for the fact that he had taken the opportunity to develop new skills and to better condition himself. There were benefits to such, and enduring what this prey had to offer was one of those very benefits. He gripped his blade in his hands, firmly holding the handle as the weapon was positioned, ready to deflect whatever the prey had to deliver with his own unique blade. For an Ooman, this one was incredibly skilled.

He was no ordinary Ooman, that was certain.

Dachande peered through the cracked lenses of his mask, staring to the shadow warrior leader as he remained in the defensive posture despite the pain which he endured. With a deep breath of air, the Yautja took in a breath and held it for a moment, heaving out as he willed the pain away from his form. After all, pain was nothing more than a state of mind. He watched as the Ooman shadow warrior had done the same. Dachande and his prey stared to one another, silence surrounding them as they made not a single move. Both had landed and inflicted damage onto one another, neither wanting to give in and having come very far in their efforts to overwhelm one another. As Dachande had suffered his own injuries, the Ooman shadow warrior also endured some of his own. And neither were willing to make a move.

Yet, something had to give.

The Yautja Elder stepped forward, now gripping his Dlex blade firmly within hand and the Ooman shadow warrior sprinted and dashed right for Dachande. The two closed the twenty feet of space which was between them, the moment extending into what could've been an eternity as the intensity of the battle reached an all time high until they had collision with one another. Dachande moved his arms, slashing the Dlex sword across to the right, but the prey positioned his blade out in front of himself, using his own unique blade to deflect the strike but the strength of the Yautja was enough to make him stumble back. Dachande relentlessly moved in pursuit, thrusting his blade out to stab the other but found that his stuck was not true as the other side stepped and deflected with his own blade, retaliating with a downward slash.

Dachande moved his arms, positioning the blade horizontally and raised his weapon, in turn blocking the incoming strike. Sparks erupted as the two swords collided and grinded violently against one another. The Yautja Elder pushed back against the force of the blade, and he moved his arms down in a curve then slashing the Dlex sword across to the left, intent on striking the torso of his prey.

Blood had been drawn. The shadow warrior grunted in discomfort as the wound was inflicted upon him, yet he stood his ground. The Ooman swung his blade, curving it down for a strike to the warrior's legs, but the Yautja Elder moved his own blade down and parried the strike. Removing a hand from his own blade, the shadow warrior raised his own metal hand blades, and punch his fist out, striking the Hunter onto his masked visage. Dachande's head was forced to turn, and sparks erupted as the claws grazed his mask.

Regaining his senses, the Yautja Elder watched as the other thrust his blade out for a stabbing thrust. Gripping his Dlex blade firmly within his hand, Dachande turned with his upper body and positioned the weapon in a defensive block, in turn making the Ooman shadow warrior over extend his trust. Dachande threw his right knee up, smashing it right into the prey's abdomen region and caused him to lurch forward. The Yautja warrior raised his arms, preparing his blade to put in the killing blow. He swung his blade, but instead found himself hitting nothing but the ground itself. Dachande blinked, taking note that his enemy moved swiftly enough to evade the death blow. He couldn’t help but mutter a curse under his breath.

The Yautja watched as his prey somersaulted away from him rather swiftly. But the Predator warrior refused to be denied his trophy. With a goal set in mind, he dashed forward but then widened his eyes at the mistake which he was about to make, as his prey’s hands surged with black lightning and energy. Dachande would have to react fast if he were to survive this ordeal.

---

"BASARA!"

Genshin threw his arms out, throwing the sphere of dark energy out for the unknown entity that had seemed to be bent on killing him. Surely the creature would not be anticipating the Art of the Piercing Void. The Black Spider ninja leader watched as the armored warrior beast stopped in his movements and then leapt to the side, barely evading the dark energy sphere. One thing he had to admit, the creature was quick on it’s feet and had been putting up a frustrating fight.

The creature hit the ground on it's side, and rolled onto it's feet in a crouched position. It had risen to it's feet and gripped the unusual katana which it held in it's hands. Genshin chuckled with a sly grin, it was apparent to him that this creature wanted to keep on fighting. He would oblige, with pleasure. Genshin reached into his vest, pulling out three kunai and flung them out as fast as he could, and as hard as he could with the best accuracy which he had as he moved forward with a dash. The kunai rushed right in towards the warrior, and the Black Spider ninja watched as the throwing knives were deflected as the creature swung his blade downward. The creature raised it's arms and prepared for a strike down, Genshin side-stepped and twirled the Blade of the Archfiend in hand, dragging the blade across the warrior’s side, drawing it's blood.

The green phosphorous fluid seeped from the laceration that Genshin had left behind. He took some mild pleasure in hearing the creature give out a guttural growl of discomfort and pain. Genshin positioned his blade back, preparing for a strike to decapitate the armored beast. He swung his blade down, but his adversary turned and raised his own blade, parrying the strike. The enemy shifted forward, turning with his hips and swung his left elbow out, smacking it hard against Genshin's face, causing the ninja to stumble to the side. The warrior swung his blade, curving it down for a strike to the legs, but Genshin moved his blade down, stopping the strike from hitting and in retaliation he brought his sword back, swinging it down diagonally for the warrior's armored chest but instead his strike was met by the warrior's blade again.

Sparks erupted from the two blades upon contact. Neither the Black Spider leader nor the warrior beast were able to gain an upper hand on one another in this skirmish. Endlessly, the two sought to find an opening within their defenses. It seemed to go on for almost what seemed an eternity.

The blade grinded against one another, and Genshin tried to push back but to no avail as the beast warrior's strength was far greater than his own. Releasing one hand from the handle of his blade, the warrior lunged out with an arm and firmly took a hold of Genshin by the neck, applying firm pressure onto the Black Spider Ninja's neck. Genshin coughed and reached up with a hand, trying in vain to pry the hand off from his throat. But the more he struggled, the more the warrior squeezed. Frantically, Genshin moved his hands into the inside of his vest, feeling around for something that might aid him in escaping.

Upon feeling the familiar hardened but round object within his left hand, he immediately took hold of the object, revealing it to be a black painted egg. He threw the object forward to the warrior's masked face, intending on setting a distraction. The egg cracked, spilling a liquid over the warrior's cracked mask lenses, and then the ninja felt himself being released as he fell onto the ground, flat on his rear. Genshin chuckled sinisterly as the warrior frantically moved away, reaching up to his mask in an attempt to remove.

Genshin had all of the time which he needed.

Quickly, placing his hands together, he began to recite numerous chants and postured his fingers with each chant, setting up another ninpo spell while the armored warrior was distracted. A violent gust of wind burst all around Genshin and swirled with the fury of a tornado. The Art of the Slashing Winds.

Genshin raised a hand and prepared himself. With a powerful thrust, he slammed his hand onto the ground, unleashing violent winds as the warrior was distracted. That was all he needed, that simple distraction.

---

He managed to pull the damaged helmet off from his head, but the Yautja warrior was late in realizing that he had been set up to a far more menacing attack. Dachande moved his head up and glared in the direction to where the Ooman shadow warrior stood, and was greeted by powerful winds. Dachande was forced off from his feet and he hit the ground, rolling back several feet and he winced his eyes as he felt a stinging pain entering through out his form. Numerous lacerations were formed on his arms and legs, wherever his armor didn't protect him. The Yautja warrior blinked his eyes in a moment of disorientation.

He took in several deep breaths of air all around him, his form seeping out blood wherever he had been cut. Dachande was battered, beaten and bruised. Truly this was an adversary who had tested his newly found limits, but the Elder warrior was determined to break those limits if he could. For a brief moment, he reminisced about the hunts which he had endured, some of them proving to be incredibly difficult. A fire burned within himself, and the Yautja found the incentive to rise up to the occasion once again. Placing his hands to the ground, with the strength and stamina that he worked to develop even further, Dachande rose up to a kneeling position, then standing to his full height once more.

A sense of amusement entered into the Yautja warrior's mind upon seeing the look of disbelief on his prey's face. How he had widened those eyes and blinked in denial to what he had seen.

Dachande gripped his sword firmly in hand, twirling it for a moment as he entered into his fighting posture once again, holding the blade out in front of him in both hands. The Yautja warrior growled, nodding his head and moving his arms back, gesturing for the prey to come to him if he dared, thinking that he could take the warrior so long as the fire burned within his spirit.

The shadow warrior once more had struck out with throwing the knives once more, but Dachande turned with his weight and brought his arms across, slashing the sword and deflected the knives once more. In turn, he watched as the other came rushing at him at swift speeds, and so the Yautja warrior side stepped over to the right as the Ooman thrust his electrified blade outward, barely missing him. Dachande swung his blade across to the right, striking the prey across his abdomen, drawing crimson out but he side-stepped and spun to move behind the shadow warrior. With quick reaction, Dachande moved his blade down diagonally, striking the other down onto his back. Crimson stained the ground once more.

But the prey remained standing, despite his wounds. Dachande respected the fighting spirit and skill, as well as the strength of this prey. If he were successful in defeating his prey, he would most certainly remember this battle. Dachande readied himself, his sights remained on his opponent.

The prey swiftly turned and he struck out with his electrified blade, slashing it across horizontally. Dachande postured his blade, blocking the strike and watched as the other thrust his blade outward. The Yautja raised his own blade, now guiding the prey's blade upward as he stepped inward, dragging it down as he locked the two blades over his shoulders. Dachande watched as his prey had formed a smirk. Already the battle had been decided. With a turn and push, the Yautja shoved his adversary to spin against his will, and he took advantage of this. Dachande swung his arms, striking his Dlex blade across the prey's neck. Metal tore threw flesh, and blood spilled from the neck as the prey's head fell back as the body fell to the side. There was no longer any movement from the prey. The battle was over.

Dachande leaned forward, extending a hand to reach for his hard earned trophy. The very sword which the Shadow Ninja used. Glancing at the electrifying blade, Dachande crossed his blade with the newly acquired one and threw his arms up as he unleashed a triumphant roar that echoed into the night. Lightning danced across the darkened skies, thunder boomed furiously as each bolt of electricity illuminated the dark clouds that gathered. Lightning struck down onto the two blades, energy surging through the swords. Adrenaline coursed through his veins, feeding him vigor and strength. With new trophies, Dachande stood triumphantly over the decapitated body of the shadow leader. He had proven himself once more.

With a satisfied grin, Dachande lamented over his hard earned victory as he turned to return to his clan.

---

His recovery didn't take too long for him to get out back into the grounds. It had taken him perhaps five days at the most but never the less, the Elder warrior was more than prepared to seek new game once more in these hunting grounds. While the prey were not as abundant as the previous grounds, there were a few notable exceptions that were enough to give the Yautja something of a challenge. The Shadow Leader had proven to be a most memorable battle, and Dachande had taken two trophies from that prey.

Dachande pondered if that was perhaps his hardest battle to date, and if it was then the training prior to it had most certainly paid off in the end and perhaps it would make future battles even more interesting. A small scoff escaped from Dachande's breath as he looked down to the Oomans who were oblivious to his presence as he remain perched upon a rooftop ledge. So concerned about the hustle and bustle of their lives. It was preferable this way for the Oomans to not know of his or the clan's presence.

As he remained on the rooftop ledge, Dachande closed his eyes for a moment. He reminisced about the recent and past hunts which he had endured through out his time as a Hunter and Warrior. Surely, he had come a long way and perhaps he would go even further if he were to find any more game in the grounds.

At least, that's what he had been hoping for anyway.

The Yautja warrior had been relentlessly searching for new prey which was worthy of his attention, but all he had seen were nothing but Oomans committing petty acts of violence against each other, none of which were real warriors which were worthy enough for themselves to be tested, and to allow himself to be tested. But that was the idea of hunting, to search for game and decide whether or not it was worth the time and the effort. Dachande could've simply gone back to hunting the Kainde Amedha but he felt as if he had grown past that by now, but there were always circumstances that he felt required his presence. However, this was not the time for such circumstances as this was no blooding ritual. Nor was it an infestation which had demanded his attention either. The night was still young. There at least had to be something.

At least, that was something which he had been trying to convince himself in trying to keep up with the hunt as far as he was concerned. But patience would pay off, as he had come to realize through his experiences in the years he had continued in participating in the hunt.

The virtue of patience often invoked many a memory when Dachande had persisted in finding worthy game and had found something which he had been looking for. Surely, this would happen again.

Rising to his full stature, the Elder took one final glance down to the denizens of the grounds below. He would let them continue on with their usual hustle and bustle, as their activities didn't concern him at all whatsoever. And why would they? Whatever they did in their lives gained no interest from Dachande.

It mattered not. What mattered to him was the hunt, and where it would lead him.

Dachande had often wondered where it would be taking him, and what kinds of prey which he would encounter and where he would be going. It was always these questions which had made him want to go looking for the answers, wanting to know what he was capable of as were his people if they put their minds into their own goals as warriors and hunters.

Was it that his goal was to set a new bar to be raised? To make his people aspire for something greater?

If that was his purpose in the hunt, then he would be more than willing to prove something to his prey, to his people. And most importantly to himself.

With this goal in mind, Dachande proceeded to be on the move in search of worthy game.

The call of duty had been made, and he was the one to answer it. It was perhaps the reason why he had decided to become a police officer in the first place, and ever since the Akatsuki-Gou incident, he had become a hero in the literal sense. It was then that he had been assigned to the G3 Unit. And when he had aided in helping getting rid of the Unknowns that once roamed the streets of Tokyo, he had been re-assigned as an ordinary police officer once more.

And now, the call of duty had been made once more and he had to answer it.

There had been killings which went beyond the normal standards, even for ordinary police to handle and some citizens had reported seeing in some unknown creature. If there had been Unknowns still roaming the city, then it was more than enough for Makoto Hikawa to reassume the mantel of G3. Could it have been the same creatures he dealt with long ago? It had been several years since he had donned the G3 suit, but a part of him looked forward to wearing it once more, and it didn't take a lot of effort for his superiors to reassign his crew to help operate the G3 Unit.

Makoto Hikawa was sitting in the back of the trailer, reminiscing about the times he had served in the G3 unit. How he had fought along side Agito and helped bring a sense of peace to the city which he had long fought to protect. While there had been moments where G3 hadn't been able to do it alone, Hikawa had no regrets about the services he had done to protect those who were unable to fend for themselves against the Unknowns. All of this was the reason why he had chosen to become a policemen in the first place. It was a duty which he was more than proud to uphold. To serve and protect. What could be more noble than that? For a moment, Makoto had to think about that-- and he ultimately came up with nothing. A small smile formed on his face as he realized what he had contemplated.

"Are you ready, Hikawa-kun?"

Makoto looked up for a brief moment and noticed the familiar friend of colleague and friend, Sumiko Ozawa. Ozawa was one of the operators of the G3 Team and had proven herself to be a valuable asset to the team considering the work she had put into advance their efforts. Makoto nodded his head as he rose up from his seat and moved towards the trailer which also served as an armory of sorts. Upon stepping into the armory trailer, Makoto had undone his jacket, removing it from himself as well as his other garments, leaving himself in only a jumpsuit. Makoto remained still, as Sumiko moved to retrieve the necessary parts of the G3 Extension suit.

It wouldn't be long until the necessary parts of the armor were added, as well as the power supply required to help operate the suit along with it's performance enhancing capabilities for the wearer to be granted. All that was needed was the helmet. Sumiko placed the helmet onto Makoto's head, and the bulbous bug appearing eyes flashed a bright red, indicating that the suit was now activated.

With a smile, Ozawa placed a hand onto the Kamen Rider's shoulder and gave a nod.

"You do well out there, Hikawa-kun."

Makoto turned, facing the rack which carried the necessary weapons for the job if he were to encounter any of the Unknowns he had experienced with several years before. With the necessary equipment needed for the job, and after making sure that the suit was working in proper order, Makoto was more than ready to hit the streets. He moved to the bike which he had been assigned, the Guard Chaser. Gripping his hands onto the steers, and igniting the engine, with the red and blue signal lights now being turned on, waited for the moment to exit the trailer. The rear doors opened, and he guided the bike out from the trailer.

The red and blue lights illuminated the darkened streets. Sirens blared through the silent night.

The call of duty had been answered. Kamen Rider G3 had returned.

---

The familiar sounds of emergency blared through the night, catching the Elder's attention. Dachande peered ahead and looked to where the source of the sound could've been coming from. Tapping onto the button in his mask with his mandibles, he zoomed his visual sensors towards the source. Not to his surprise, there were two vehicles emitting out some sort of unusual light and the two were emitting the sounds. Nothing seemed out of the unusual for the warrior at first, but one thing did catch his attention.

The Ooman riding the smaller vehicle, ahead of the larger one.

Curious about this prey, the Yautja focused his sensors onto the Ooman that had drawn his attention. A red triangle formed onto the Ooman and so, Dachande began to scan at the armor which the Ooman seemed to have donned. Impressive, he wasn't aware that Oomans were capable of such armor and weaponry. To wield that kind of power through technological means was certainly an achievement for this species. Perhaps he had found a worthy challenge after all that which he looking for this night.

For a moment, as he remained on the rooftops, Dachande watched as the rider passed by him. With an incentive to proceed on with the hunt, Dachande followed but remained up high and in the shadows.

He would catch up with his prey, and when he would, he would strike.

This is the next continuation of the Broken Tusk Predator storyline. This one took me a while to write up because of different circumstances and now the CBUB game has completely changed. So I am now simply treading in shallow waters for the time being until I am sure I want to continue this arc, as I have considered this one to be the last match but we’ll see how this goes. For a while I’ve been wanting to do a match involving Kamen Rider, like with my Scar Predator arc, but I’ve always wanted to do a match with G3.

Anyway, enjoy!

It's good! I really enjoyed it! Great job Rakai! I do beleive Dachance will catch up to his prey and have a worthy fight. In the end he will once again claim another trophy. Once again, It's Good. Keep up the good work and I hope you post another soon because Im in Spring Break right now. I just posted my latest battle which I like to think of it as an impromptu set-up with Gale Weathers vs. Lake Placid Crocodiles. It's more of a story of survival than anything else. If your bored, you can always stop by for hopefully some amount of entertainment. Good job

Very Respectfully,

Boratz.

Good work Rak, this has managed to even perk my interest in Kamen Rider. Solid entry too, this may come down to the wire unless BT finds a way to penetrate that armor effectively.

Considering that Kamen Rider G3 isn't necessarily as empowered in the same way as the other Kamen Riders in any other series, I would say that it's not impossible to penetrate through that armor. As a matter of fact, G3 is really just a guy who is wearing a powered exosuit of some sort that allows him to fight super powered beings, but it's definitely not on the level of someone like say, Iron Man. The armor can be penetrated, though it's extremely tough by convential means.

Yautja weapons, for the most part are beyond conventional weapons. So I would say that there is a great chance of G3's armor being penetrated.

Whoops, how'd I miss this?

My vote goes to Dachande. Awesome setup as always.

Nice match! I'm sorry I was slow to respond. Anyway, I see the seasoned elder winning.

I switched to the EF Dark theme to read this one, as reading a Pred story just didn't seem right with a tropical atmosphere, heh.

Great set-up as always, Rakai. Now you've got me really wanting to play these "new" Ninja Gaiden games! :D Genshin seems like an awesome VG boss.

As for this match, the Kamen Rider G3 should prove a pretty tough opponent for Broken Tusk. His arsenal looks like it do some pretty nasty damage to BT, if given the opportunity.

Still, I think that Dachande would prevail with his superior skill, experience, strength, and weapons.

I normally don't do this anymore, considering what EF in general has become. But on the whole, its matches like these which make nod in approval. Good work, good characterization overall and once more Rakai'Thwei, you introduce me to new concepts and people I never really noticed till now. Excellent work.

Not to get off-topic from Rakai's match, but what exactly has EF become, in your mind? Because it's looking just fine to me, and with FoxFingers making changes to the site, things are really starting to look up.

And if you really don't like "what EF has become", guess what? You can either make an effort to help change things or just leave quietly. As what many others have always said, electricferret is what you make it.
