Darkseid is in his palace plotting out his next attack on Superman when suddenly Thanos appears out of thin air. Darkseid quickly turns around and omega beams are charging up from each one of his eyes, while Thanos charges up his energy blast from his hands.
DARKSEID/You Again? I thought we finished this before?

And yes, I'm willing to take up the debate(again), with anyone that believes Thanos wins the fight.
In fact, I'll just put up my usual challenge to Thanos supporters. Come up with just 1 feat from Thanos, done with his own power(no external power-ups, like the Infinity Gauntlet, HotU or the Power Orbs), that Darkseid hasn't equaled or surpassed.

You gotta have more originality. This looks like a theature script not an actual piece of writing first of all. Second, how did Thanos get into the DC Universe? Third, why isn't Superman doing anything if he's there? I'm sorry but this is bad.

superman is not there. darkseid is plotting out his next attack on superman. not standing in front of him plotting it out. lol ok this will take place after the jla avengers series. darkseid finds out that the power of the infinity gems will grant him full omnipotence if he can aquire them in the marvel universe. (they did not work in dc universe of course). he uses the mother box to transport him just like the avengers do in the crossovers. i think thats how the jla got to the marvel universe in the crossovers if im not mistaking. once arriving in marvel uni he finds thanos and confronts him of the gems. Thanos claims he does not have them (which he doesn't) and darkseid battles him hoping to defeat him and keep searching. one loop hole what would make darkseid have full abilities and powers even though he's in the marvel universe? other than that i answered your ?s.
