I missed the word biological.

Good, that means your eyes are fully functional, because I just edited that in.

Nevertheless, that's what I meant, I just worded it poorly.

Darkness did seem hurt a little from that blast. Darkness did pretty well against Superman as well.

As in, Spawn draws on the power of darkness, Darkness' powers and minions would feed Spawn quite handily. Plus, I don't think The Darkness has any heavenly weapons to use. And I'm pretty sure, he's fairly weak against any light, from what I've read of his comics.

Spawn drawing power from darkness, just means that Darkness can weaken him.

Similarly to how a person who can control sunlight, would be able to weaken Superman.

In his universe, Darkness is nigh-omnipotent. As long as it is dark, there is pretty much nothing that he cannot do, likewise for his counterpart the Angelus, when it's light.

The Darkness, was the primordial power before creation, then God let in light and the Angelus, which sparked the creation of the universe/multiverse.

The only version of Spawn that would actually defeat the Darkness, is the one empowered by The Mother, that kicked around God and the Devil.

Darkness can do anything in the dark however once light comes into play he is royally screwed. Plus once again Darkness doesn't have any heavenly weapons that can kill Spawn. Spawn doesn't just get more powerful from darkness he also gets powerful from the evil energies in the world. That's not even scratching Spawn's other vast powers and abilities. Spawn is more then capable of creating light to defeat Darkness.

Just in case this wasn't known; the following battles have occurred in comics already:

VS Superman
Posted Image
VS Hulk (which I think also featured Ghost Rider)
Posted Image
VS Batman
Posted Image
VS Witchblade
Posted Image
VS Wolverine
Posted Image

And more. Gonna have to dig these out now to read over them! Damn you CBUB for pitting me against my apathy.

But on a serious note, some of the more interesting battles that have/should be done are Spawn, Human Torch, or even Sentry or Martian Manhunter might be interesting.

LOL The problem is the Hulk is immune to the Darkness if you read the cross over. The Hulk against a man with a hand gun, squish dead Jackie.

Batman shouldn't have been able to stand that much of a chance against Darkness like he did.

Both Superman, Batman, Hulk and Wolverine should have lost within a page or two against Darkness. Darkness is just that much more powerful.

I agree. Even as a Superman fan I think Superman fought Darkness way too easy and Darkness even having trouble with Superman to the extent he did was unfair to the character.

Thats why I loved when Witchblade beat the crap out of the JLA.

True, the Darkness powers essentially made Hulk angrier.

Hulk should have won in in less pages then the boring comic had. As I stated and as the first few pages of the comic state, Hulk IS IMMUNE TO THE DARKNESS, it makes him stronger while the Darkness can not harm him. Jackies Darkness powers do not work on the Hulk so factor him out.

That said Jackie with all his power has been taken out by some really less then average villains, plain Humans.

I've just read the comic. The only thing Hulk was immune to, was the Darklings. They simply couldn't pierce his skin, and their attacks made him angrier, thus making him stronger. Darkness didn't even bother using his other powers in that fight.

If you try reading some of the later Darkness comics, he is also capable of creating much more than just the miniature Darklings that he uses in the crossover.

Full power Hulk = powerful
Full power Darkness = Nigh-Omnipotent

Hulk would only last as long as Darkness lets him.

Hmmm if he is that powerful Hito-shura (SMT) is probably a better match for him then Alucard.

Eh, Hito-Shura might be just powerful enough if he's Lucifer's General.

Beyond that I kinda doubt it though if he uses Almighty-Type attacks he could do something.

Yeah, I was thinking about putting him on Darkness Level, not overpowering him past where Darkness has no chance, lol, hence my suggestion of Lucifer's General. :(

I thought he became Lucifers general at the end when he killed Kagutsuchi and after he fights Lucifer for the final battle against YHVH? :(
Played that game in gaint chunks so I don't remember some.

Eh, having defeated Kagutsuchi doesn't necessarily translate to him having the same power, after all he was granted the capability of doing so by Lucifer.

Okay, how bout I clarify, before he destroys Kagutsuchi but after he obtains the power up from Lucifer?

Still same path, just not exactly his General yet.
