So often I feel this town needs an enema. So, I am about to organize a group of writers to do a Children of Sayang fiction. However, I want to do another interactive tourney type deal too. So, question is which would you all rather see or participate in next: Fiction or Tournament?

That's what I just said. I'm choosing between the fiction and doing another tournament style thingy. I'll probably do them both, but choosing which to do first.

Fiction. This site has enough characters, they just need to start doing things. I liked the monthly tournaments though, so I wouldn't be against something like that, but if its one or the other I'd vote for the fic first.

Fiction Tournament.

Take X number of people. Let's say 8. Have them play out a "season" of fiction competition. Each week, everyone faces off against a different person. Each pair has to write a short story about a character already in the gallery. Whoever is running the tourney will determine who gets paired up and who each pair has to write about. Then people vote on whose short story is best. Do this for 7 weeks so that everyone has matched up once. Then do a playoff until we get a winner who is crowned That Person Who Writes Fiction Really Good And Stuff.

Tournament. Sayang are a fun group to create characters for, in the sense that they're badass supervillains out to f*ck the world up.

Only dedicated FPLers will read fics, no matter how good they are. A tourney gives you the chance to get outsiders interested too, as the last one demonstrated.

Probably going to jump into Landon's idea first then. Perhaps a little dumbed-down though. Writers with a lust for beating your fellow man prepare.
