You know, I (and, I'm sure, many others) originally thought that when every new match made at the CBUB and FPL went to its respective archives, an old match was automatically purged away and was replaced by the newly archived match. Indeed, if one were to casually look in the Archives at the moment and skip back to the first page it only goes back to Match 273. But then, I stumbled upon serge's original post:

As you can see, the post is in the CBUB Archives. Of course, I wasn't here back then, but my best guess is that this "test match" just may be the first match ever posted in this current version of EF. This tells me that some of the earlier matches may still be "stored" somewhere on EF, and one can still find those matches if certain keywords were used, or if users commented on these matches and one happens to search through certain users' comments. In fact, I actually see guests looking up these "hidden" matches all the time on the Online List.

The question remains, though, where are those older matches "stored"?

So it's an archive, INSIDE an archive?

Step 1: Find a really old member. In my case, I used Nova.

Step 2: Choose the option Find Member's Posts, which is under Options on a user's profile page.

Step 3: Go to the last page of their posts, and there'll be some on some old matches. A lot of them made by Serge.

DamagEdit: Also, just looking at the last page of the CBUB Archives, I saw matches in the 2 and 3 hundreds, but then #85 was mixed in. They could all be there, they're just not in order.

Try toggling the Order option to "Topic Started". That should put the matches in order.

That does change things. It is weird that #85 is mixed in, but there are definitely some missing. There are 30 listed on each page, with 345 pages, that comes to 10,350. The newest match is 10,656...
