"I hope he can handle it. The current setting should work just fine, anice forest with a lake." She'd check over her weapons and step in, lightsabers on training settings but not active.Vanilor inevitably reestablished the mental connection, after hearing his Rider out. Not only was his disappointment gone, but it was entirely replaced by something stronger. Anticipation. As he entered the room alongside Katrina, his tail twitched with excitement.
"Katie, he will accept your gracious offer."

Katrina had a strong feeling on who would prevail, though she kept it to herself. "The best of luck to you both.""I hope he can handle it. The current setting should work just fine, anice forest with a lake." She'd check over her weapons and step in, lightsabers on training settings but not active.
Vanilor eyed the environment. Through smell alone he could tell it was false, though it mattered little. He found the lakeside to be quite serene, despite the combat about to take place. With his talons, he testily kneaded the earth. With wings slightly open, he watched Katie with intelligent eyes.

"Lesson 1: Size matters not." Her metals were burning and the Force was flowing and damn it felt good.

Surprised and caught unaware, Katie would effectively slam the dragon through two trees before he could respond. His wings snapped open, catching the air like great sails. This slowed him enough that he could latch onto a nearby tree, a bit larger than the average. As his claws ripped into the trunk, he slowly regained his balance.Without even annoncing the beginning of the match. <Magic!> he cursed. Vanilor dashed quick as four legs would carry him, running between trees toward Katie. A ball of flame escaped his maw, though he aimed it at the ground in front of her feet. The desired result would be chunks of heated earth flying in countless directions.

"That wasn't magic." Seing the approaching ball of flame Katie jumped, pewter and the Force carrying her high into a tree as she pulled off a Force repulse to keep the shrapnel from the fireball away. From the tree she would drop three coins and using iron and steel with the expertise her mother had drilled into her would use them in Pushes and Pulls to attempt to land on the dragon's back and land a hit with one of her now active shotos. Since it was on a practice setting it would only sting if it hit.Surprised and caught unaware, Katie would effectively slam the dragon through two trees before he could respond. Vanilor took note of her strength as he watched her sail high above the ground. Never letting her leave his line of sight, he watched her fall toward him at unnatural angles. Just before she could land on his back, he jumped and twisted, aiming a simple swipe of his forelimb at her center of mass, careful not to cut her with his ivory claws."That wasn't magic." The good thing about Allomancy was that it was easy to change direction in midair by dropping acoin and Pushing on it she was able to avoid his swipe. She let gravity carry her back to the ground and Pushed on a handful of coins but befor the got very far she also Pulled on them suspending them in midair and let losse with a blast of Sith Lightning through the coins increasing the range and spread of the attack. This was one of her favorite tricks. If the lightning hit it would be obscenely painful but wouldn't do any reall damage as she was holding back.

Vanilor landed from his jump and kept running. As he rounded a tree, lightning sparked the spot he had been in upon jumping. Being a dragon meant even on the ground, he was fast. He knew that if he'd have stopped running to follow up offensively, he might have been hit. Vanilor, having turned around, leapt and glided on partially opened wings. Slightly airborne, he shot two balls of fire at the trees to Katie's right and left. With these a bit hotter, they'd impact their targets: trees. The result would be a rather violent explosion of heat, tree bark, and jagged branches. The explosions would be far away enough from Katie so as not to be fatal, minor shockwaves included. The good thing about Allomancy was that it was easy to change direction in midair by dropping acoin and Pushing on it she was able to avoid his swipe. She'd be kncke dto the ground and a little disevled but pewter largely stopped any real damage on top of the safties in the holodeck. It was time to quit playing around. She went for a Force Choke. Even dragons need to breathe after all. She would merely attempt to hold it until he submitted.

Vanilor would have growled, but he could feel the pressure against his neck muscles. It was very uncomfortable, but he figured the only thing that changed was the time which he had to continue. Being a dragon also meant he could hold his breath for quite some time. By now, having distracted Katie with the dual explosions, he was close enough. Also, having flown instead of ran, a much faster means of travel, he'd closed the distance between them. He'd attempt to slam his tail into Katie with enough force to put her on the ground, then keep soaring past her. She'd be kncke dto the ground and a little disevled but pewter largely stopped any real damage on top of the safties in the holodeck. Increasing the pressure hurt more, but it wouldn't make him breathe any less. Vanilor followed Katie above, darting through trees on powerful wings. He positioned himself above her person, matching her speed without trouble. With his inhuman eyesight, keeping track of where she was was almost easy. From his position, he aimed multiple tail swings, attempting to knock her clear off her feet.Katie ran, she was a blur. just playing a game of keep away with Vanilor while increasing the choke pressure.

She'd jump and pull herself on to his tail and run on to his body. She made no attempt to actually attack other than the choke.Increasing the pressure hurt more, but it wouldn't make him breathe any less. Because of the effort needed to grab hold of such a quick moving target, the mid-swing tail, and the jerking motion caused by grabbing onto it, Vanilor was freed of the Force Choke, if only temporarily. He took the opportunity to take in a breath, increasing the amount of time he had to maintain consciousnesses for a span.Vanilor increased his height by dozens of yards in a handful of seconds. As he did so, above the canopy of trees, he bucked wildly in the air, trying to make Katie work to stay on his back. She'd jump and pull herself on to his tail and run on to his body. Katie's balance was in human thanks to pewter while keeping on him wasn't easy, it wasn't difficult either. She turned her shotos to the normal setting and bgan chipping at scales, unless he could stop her or gave up.

Vain as he was, he felt a great anger at the girl tarnishing the beauty of his moonlight scales. However, by now, Vanilor was exactly where he wanted to be. Dead center of the large lake. Only a few dozen yards above the surface, he angled his trajectory straight down. If she was going to take his air, he would return the favor.Katie's balance was in human thanks to pewter while keeping on him wasn't easy, it wasn't difficult either. She'd let it happen and let loose with a blast of Sith lightning as they went under, water conducts electricty, he own Force poer prevented her from shocking herself. Vanilor howvever would not be so lucky she did toss her sabers away so the water didn't ruin them.

Vanilor knew she would be tempted to use her lightning in this environment. That's why, as he entered the water, he tucked his limbs and wings close to his body. As he submerged deeper, the current would be attracted to the surface of the water, even if the lightning itself touched Vanilor. For, in lightning, it was the current that was deadly. His mass meant he would be resistant as well, adding to the defense, although the stinging and tingling was undeniable, despite the fact that the size of the lake helped distribute and disperse its power. Also, he used his tail as a power supply, sinking deeper into the water. If she stopped her assault, she might realize they were now dozens of yards below the surface, the dive having helped add to the velocity. If Katie tried to swim away, he'd bite her and prevent escape, though he wouldn't bite hard enough to sever anything. She'd let it happen and let loose with a blast of Sith lightning as they went under, water conducts electricty, he own Force poer prevented her from shocking herself.
