every episode with him fighting is him talking about sayian pride then he gets his ass wooped and completely humiliated.
i don't get i have not seen nearly every episode does he ever win a fight and not get mocked .

He wins some fights, but he suffers from the Worf Effect. He (same with Piccolo) is the bad ass that needs to get a beaten so the enemy looks really tough.

Why does Wolverine get more shots to the face than anyone else? See the above. Vegeta gets it too. Slaughtering innocent namekians, letting the cell power up, blowing self up to try and save the world, taking a heck of a beating to give Goku time may be other reasons. Not to mention the scores of one liners.

I always thought a Vegeta was those leafy greens I should add more to my diet.

Vegeta has never beaten a major villian but like one or two androids and is not a badass. You can't compare Wolverine and Vegeta by the way. Vegeta is all talk and no action to be honest. He reminds me of the kid in school who tries to act tough but then gets his ass kicked in every fight.

Mirai Trunks was badass to me when he first shows up and kills Freeza with his father. Trunks then goe back and kills Cell along with the Androids in the future.

Vegeta only beat a Android. Did he beat Cell? No because he let his ego and more get in the way. Vegeta like you said only held off Buu for a while.

Not true really as Piccolo really was the one to defeat Raditz, Gohan beat Cell, and Goku had his powers restored to 100% which is why he defeated Buu. Gohan and Vegeto could have beaten Buu if he didn't absorb them. Now if we are also counting GT then yeah but thats not really the case in DBZ. Goku and Vegeta battled to the point where they kept besting one another until Goku went Kaioken times 3 I believe when using the kamahamaha. Goku against Freeza obviously that was his first time going Super Saiyan.

MARVANOTE: Also, Vegeta was fairly bad@$$ in the first few seasons. He owned Nappa, tied Goku, then wrecked mayhem on Namek like some sort of insane energy shooting Rambo.

Goku was stronger then Piccolo.

Gohan beat Cell yes, then when the Buu saga started he was weaker then Gohan. Hence he can only be stronger then Goku for a few eps. Which supports what I said.

Goku could have killed Fat Buu, but didn't, he wanted his sons to save the day.

Vegito was purposely absorbed to save everyone.

I never said he beat Perfect Cell. At times like this it seems you misunderstand for the sake of your argument. Beyond that, the point was: He managed to do decent with Second Form Cell, as in literally beating him to the point Cell had to provoke his saiyan pride in order to survive.

And he didn't get owned, as in punked, as you're arguing, by Kid Buu. He held him off for a while.

So... I don't see any difference other than your changing your argument? I mean the entire point of my post was proving that he didn't get punked in these three instances.

And on top of what Marvel Man just brought in... yeah.
