More than likely, because they were real life people.First one, why were the Harlem Globetrotters rejected?

Didn't you get an explanation for the rejection in the Characters Records section of your control panel? I usually get a one-line explanation for mine.

The 'Trotters are pretty well known pop culture figures. Both were denied by me for being real people.

You could give a little reason, otherwise, ya know, they'll just resubmit. Both were denied by me for being real people.

Ah, but couldn't an exception possibly be made if there's a fictionalized version of said person, group, etc.? When I added Michael Jordan, I made sure to include a link to Space Jam's website.
Also, there was a Harlem Globetrotters cartoon back in the '70's.

I gotta draw the line somewhere, otherwise people will be complaining about personal bias. Besides, Globetrotter's fighting isn't going to light up the place.

I could redeny them again.

Look, I told you what I would do and I can't review every single character. Some others have different standards and probably accepted those others. One thing I know is that you need to stop bitching.
Quoted for truth.

1. I deny DC characters regardless of links.
2. If you submit a female character, she's got to be smoking hot to get in. I'm sure her personality is great, but the CBUB has standards.
3. If I've had a tough day, I like to write Yo Mamma Jokes under why I denied a character.
4. If you misspell a character's name, I'll open a can of whoop-@$$ on ya!
5. Not capitalizing the links irks me. Come on. How hard is writing Wikipedia instead of wikipedia?
6. Wednesdays are denial day!
7. Every once in a while, I allow my army of monkeys to deny/approve characters.
8. Horror Characters get reviewed first, mostly because odds are one of those characters actually exists. And they'll kill me.
9. If I see an Internet "Celebrity", I immediately call Treacherous. He then calls in the EF Death Squad.
10. If the day I'm reviewing is divisible by four, I will deny the first three characters I see. If it is divisible by two, I will not review characters. If it is divisible by five, I like to sing Dubstep songs.
MARVANOTE: But seriously, the Pop Culture significance is entirely up to the reviewer. When in doubt, always submit a fictional version of a character. Also, don't judge the database's requirements by what has gotten in before.

Temper temper. Cussing at someone because they feel someone would be a fine and worthy addition. So... to make a long story short you're wrong. The movie enemy at the gates is largely fictionalized anyway.Look, I told you what I would do and I can't review every single character. Some others have different standards and probably accepted those others. One thing I know is that you need to stop bitching.
