Ok, it seems like someone has a poor taste in wrestling history. But that's ok, because I'll show you my all-time favorite tag team partners. In no particular order starting with;
The New Age Outlaws-Road Dogg & Billy Gunn (1997-2000)

Hardy Boyz-Matt & Jeff Hardy (1993-2009)
The Midnight Express-Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose (1981-1988)
Rock'N'Sock Connection-The Rock & Mankind (1999-2004)
The Road Warriors-Hawk & Animal (1983-2003)

If by best you mean most likely to win in the most scenarios...
Gotta go with Kane and Taker. If ya put it in comic terms; those two are bricks and virtually everyone else on the list are street levelers.
If you mean most accomplished, I'd go with the Hardy Boyz, slightly over the Hart Foundation.

It's kind of a toss up for me for various reasons.

Undertaker and Kane just have that sheer dominance factor in their styles and characters that we're their paired up you just know someone's gonna get hurt. I also like how half the time when they team up they spend most of the match trying to one up each other.

DX is always entertaining... okay, their last couple of runs were kind of annoying, but I mean their first run and first ruinion were fun. Also they're promos usually crack me up... "I JUST KICKED STAN" so they could be considered the best (imo) for sheer entertainment factor. Plus HHH and Shawn Michaels are both veterans who are great to watch in the ring.

The Hardys I have always loved. Their extreme style was great back in the attitude era. Their long running feud with Edge and Christan (who should be on the list) and Team 3D was a corner stone of WWE for a long while.

The above statement goes for Bubba and D'von as well, but you also have to add that they have the most tag titles out of every other team and have held every major tag championship.

I could go on and explain about Rated RKO, Eddie and Chavo and others on the list, but I don't feel like typing all that.

Anyway I have to go with the Hardys just because they're two of my favorite wrestlers.

But I do want to go on record and say that if this where out of any tag team I would say that Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero are my favorite tag team of all time.

DUDE!? Jesse and Vestus?! You must be a youngin. Now, Im not trying to sound a complete ass but I will tell ya my feelings on them one by one.

D-Generation X (DX) - Triple H, Shawn Michaels. Just a stable never really a tag team. OUT!
The Hardys - Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy Good great risk taskers not the best though.
Rock and Sock - The Rock and Mick Foley Still not a tag team even though they teamed up for a lil while.
Biscuts and Gravy - Festus and Jesse NO! No! A tag team but a shitty one at that.
Road Warriors - Hawk and Animal Now here are the greatest. Seriously they did not get beat until Hawks death in 2003 or something like that.
Jerhico and Big Show - Chris Jerhico and Big Show Nope still not a tag team.
Los Guerreros - Eddie Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero OH HELLS YEAH! They are up there with the road warriors.
The Hart Foundation - Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart Dont remember.
Brothers of Destruction - Kane and Undertaker I love them as a tag team but they eventually break up and fight each other. SO Mehhh.
Rated RKO - Edge and Randy Orton Not a tag team.

Like I said not trying to sound like an ass. Cause your a youngin. However, there are really no tag teams in the Wwe. That is why they brung Dx back and Jericho and Show team up. Tag teams in Wwe are done and over. They no longer care about them. :/ Dudley Boys, Edge and Christian, Wild Somaons, Legion of Doom, and many more are great tag teams. Go and visit wrestling fourms where there are people who are more wiser than me. They can give ya a super list. Then watch them on youtube and witness greatness.

Oh yeah, thats what Im talking about :P. In addition I agree with magnetrix's statements though Ive gotta rate APA and Edge+Christian a bit higher.

All in all from the list Id say Hart foundation(awesome) or the Road Warriors(Doomsday device) then maybe Rock n Sock(I like Mick Foley)
