Alright, so Zreth had the great idea of using Custom cards in a Yu-Gi-Oh game, and somehow i ended up getting stuck with the job of running this thing. Every player must have a deck of 40-60 cards, they may be custom cards (these can be created on www.yugiocardmaker.net ), actual cards, or a mix of the two. The cards must follow the rules of Yu-Gi-Oh, and I may need people who know the rules to help me make sure no card is OP. I'll update this as more ideas flow into my mind.

One question; are we allowed to create custom cards based on already existing fictional characters/monsters? Such as the Rancor, the Brumak, etc.

Yeah, go for it, but if its strong, make sure you set the level higher. Nothing OP.

How strong, only like one monster as strong as the Egyptian God Cards?

any cards as long as they follow rules, i already said that. You can have the egyptian god cards if ya want, but by the time you summon them you will likely be losing.

Hey Jesus, I think there should be a power limit or something, or else everyone will start with Attack -4000 Defense - 4000 type creatures.

How is gameplay completed? Do you chose which cards to choose, or does a GM chose them?
How can you know your own field?

It will probably be an chat RP, a dicebot decides what cards you draw.
