Also, the Venom vs Superman thing was obviously Non-Cannon.

I know that. RBB said both companies agreed on who will win. So they must have agreed that Superman would get beat up by Venom.

I know.

no you dont understand. Only the one crossover with supes catching thors hammer was a crossover with no fan votes. If you read the JLA/Avengers crossover it was agreed upon by both companies writers and artists. The other crossovers used fan votes. The link to the thread proved everything. accept it or not. I have given plenty of proof on why Supes wins. I have nothing left to prove.

Superman would just zap Venom with his heat Vision. I do not think they agreed on that one.

What are you talking about I proved some many things why Thor would win. But you just ignored them.

No I did not.

What he posted meant nothing why Superman would win.

Marvelman and Ivan already stated why Thor would win and so did I, I'm done here.

Btw I did not see you post anything why Superman would win.

He's posted plenty as to how Superman could win. Just like you've posted plenty as to how Thor could win. Why can't you guys just say "It'd be close" ?!

Oh, also...

What's that? PIS?

Marvel own both these characters. Ergo, they must believe Spidey could take down Firelord in the right circumstances.

RBB said that if it happens in the crossover comics, both companies agreed to it. SB (being a smartass), rebutted with the Venom knocking out Superman image.

So, I threw in the Spiderman wailing on Firelord image for the above reasons. I'm trying to get these two to just admit the other could be right.

As much as Wolverine could defeat Lobo, sure.

ANYWAY.

Thor could beat Superman. Superman could beat Thor, but wouldn't have an easy time of it at all.

Thor can travel at supersonic speeds in Earth's atmosphere and travel faster then the spped of light in space.

STRENGTH
From Thor's very first appearance, his strength has been portrayed as being top-tier. Here, he twists around iron bars effortlessly with his bare hands, from Journey Into Mystery #83:

Here he carves a hammer out of uru with his fingers, from Journey Into Mystery #92:

Onto pure pushing and lifting feats. Early on, Thor pushes over the Leaning Tower of Pisa with his finger, from Journey Into Mystery #92:

Thor actually lifts the Midgard Serpent away from the Earth. Note that the catastrophic effects of such a feat are actually physically felt on Earth, from Thor #327:

Thor resists a force "as though half a planet" were bearing down on him, from Thor #140:

And with repeated blows? Thor and Red Norvell literally wreck Asgard with their fist-fight and almost deafen Heimdall, from Thor #476:

DURABILITY

Thor has resisted extreme ranges of heat throughout his career. Thor doesn't even register a reaction when immersed in lava, from Avengers #5:

Another high-end feat, Thor is caught in a web of energy of an amped Thanosi who destroys a planet of 41 billion beings. Firelord knows he cannot resist such energies and frees Thor by, ironically, blasting Thor with his Power Cosmic, from Thor vol. 2 #25:

He time travels again in Journey Into Mystery #102:

Btw crossovers are not canons(Wonder women losing to Storm and Lobo losing to Wolverine is invalid.

Also thors hammer can absorb supermans attacks like it did Silver surfer, etc.

But the problem is Silver age(classic Superman) is really really extremely weak against magic.

Amen! Now what else can be said? He spelled it out for you and everything! If you saw during seige after he killed sentry he flew to the sun in like 2 mins to throw sentrys body in the sun!!!!!! Thor has super speed like come on and on top of that he can teleport and absorb power through the hammer! These traits aren't ever factored in! And remember he also controls the WOLRDS weather and believe it or not lightning hurts super man especailly one the size of a city would hurt him. Thor is more than strength! He has super speed too, teleportation, able to absorb energry, control weather and is a god(pure magic) come on do your reasearch on him!
