3 rules for the teams:
1. only street level characters.
2. no power mimics.

post your team and explain how they could defeat mine, i'll then try to respond with a counter.

My team:
Backlash(DC earth-50)
Adam X
Dark Claw

Note: this is a way to get some discussions going, and through that, show people what some of the various characters are actually capable of.

I would hardly call Karate Kid street level for you guys picking him. Whilst Val himself is a normal guy, he had a martial art that could stalemate Superboy. I certainly wouldn't call someone who could do that "street level".

I have to agree. Anyone who can take on characters of such high caliber in a straight up fight seem a little higher than street level. I guess Wolverine wouldnt be considered street either since he can fight with the Hulk and put up a good fight (minus the WWHulk storyline)

Correct me if I'm wrong (because I don't read a lot of comics) but aren't most fights with Hulk and guys like Wolverine and Captain America, and others who are considered street level mostly Hulk swinging and missing while the other guy dodges and strikes?

I certainly wouldn't call Captain America or Wolverine street-level either. Both have permanent enhancements that allow them to match it (well, to an extent) with opponents like Hulk.

Even though Batman has engage with Superman on occasion, he had a Kryptonite ring. Just a slight equaliser.

Well again, I don't read a lot of actual comics. Most my knowledge has been gathered from second hand sources (cartoons, movies, this site) so I have to infer a lot so it's why I posed the question, so go ahead and take what I say with a grain of salt. I'd consider Capitan America and Wolverine street level, just like top tier street level. The reason for this, and correct me if I'm wrong, is that they can be beat - in a pure physical contests (although for Wolverine something else might be involved to get around his healing factor - by street levelers. But again, I don't know much in depth about comics so if what I'm saying is misinformed than feel free to correct me.

Yeah but with Wolverine's extreme healing factor he fights and contends with people that are above street level on a regular basis. Cap is a regular human at its peak. He doesnt really have any power. He is just extremely talented. Im just agreeing with Dark Ranger about them being classified as "street level".

At street level I just believe that a character who can easily contend with top tier characters with to enhancements or gadgets, just regular abilities are above street a little.

There are a lot in between. Green Lantern, Magneto, Spiderman, Rogue, Iron Man, Flash, etc.

When I think of street level I think of Captain America, Black Widow, Punisher, Batman, Nightwing, and Deathstroke.

Green Lantern, Magneto, Rogue are definitely on a Superman level for sure. Flash is to because of the speed force.

Lets put it like this.

Street Level are characters who can't break a mountain with one punch or something
like that. LOL

By the way I think my team of Deathstroke, Deadpool, and Scorpion from Mortal Kombat would be the best team ever.

They are so deadly and good that they would never lose.
