I used to love the Elder Scrolls... until I discovered Fallout.

I bought Elder Scrolls but never got into it. What exactly is the big deal here - am I missing something?

I can kind of understand this. I got Morrowind at one point, and I loved it because at that time there weren't really any other games out there. Then I heard about Oblivion, and I got psyched about it. Everyone said it was the best RPG ever, etc. Money constraints kept me from purchasing it for several months, and when I finally got it, it was awesome but... something felt like it was missing. I got somewhat addicted but not overly so. It was a great game, no doubt, but it doesn't rate at the top of my personal list.

It got really addicting, but then got really repetitive, however, the PC version blows everything out of the water. Honestly, I can't get hooked into Fallout.

However, Skyrim is going to be Fable, Fallout, Oblivion, and Red Dead all mixed into one!

Why do I say this?

Well, in Oblivion when you dropped a weapon nobody seemed to care or even notice at all, but in Skyrim when you drop a weapon, a kid may try to give it back, or two men may fight over who gets to keep it. Random evens happen like in Red Dead. You can duel wield weapons or spells and even fight with just a shield. Every time you play it will be something different because the game itself will change depending on your race, combat statistics, and things you have done. Also when given a quest to go through a dungeon, the game will randomly choose the location it is, the characters inside and the level they are. You will also get the perk type things from fallout. Third-person is fixed. And if you kill a store owner, a family member will inherit the store and people may change depending on how they like you. If you go into someone's home that is friends with you at night, instead of telling you to leave they may offer you a place to sleep. The game literally changes itself for you.

Look Here.

Silent Hill 2.
The music was amazing, and totally reflected the mood, and the creepiness of the entire situation.

Well, I could have long list of favorites. The most recent game being Dragon Age I'm totally pumped for the sequel, but my favorite game goes back to the 90's. My favorite game is Baldur's Gate II and its expansion pack. The game is so rich in content that I honestly don't think I've had an identical replay and I've been playing it for a long time. The dialouge is good, though unfortunately not all voiced, but what is voiced is done so brilliantly. The combat system is good, anyone who's played dragon age would see it is indeed the game's direct ancestor. The characters are rich and intruging and there are enough NPCs to allow you to enjoy a diverse party which still is awesome.

Most of that stuff was actually in Fallout: New Vegas.
But I AM psyched for Skyrim too.

No. You'll see. I just finished MK vs DC. Better than I expected. Could have had a little bit bigger roster.

Yeah. It was pretty good. Has there been a DC vs Marvel game? That would be a cool crossover.
