I see no one can afford the PlayStation 3.. (?)

I think most people just prefer Xbox, unfortunately...

No I just think PS3 hasn't had any games that really stands out like rest.

Plus alot of people prefer 360 because 360 has better games that are awesome.

Please don't turn this into a game console debate.

Another character to add to my list: Ramza Beoulve and Hayden Tenno.

Pokemon Gold/HeartGold (to be specific. Pokemon in general is amazing), Fallout 3, Fire Emblem (series), and Civ 4.

Civ 4 just based on the hours and hours and days and months thrown into it. Pokemon Gold/HeartGold, Fire Emblem, and Fallout 3 because of a mixture of that and intense love for them.

Similar to Soberguy's style:

Super Nintendo - Bomberman and Donkey Kong 2

Gameboy - Pokemon Gold

PS1 - Driver/Resident Evil 2/Metal Gear Solid/Tekken 2

PS2 - Red Faction 2/Grand Theft Auto 3/Resident Evil 4/Tekken Tag Tournament

PS3 - Modern Warfare 2/Dead Space/Tekken 6

IPhone - Falldown

Top 5:

5. Super Smash Bros Brawl- This is probably the reason I didn''t burn my Wii for heat last Winter. It is still a great party game, and although the Wii's online gaming ability sucks, I still use it just so I can slaughter newbies on this game.

Also, tied with this is the Mario Kart Franchise. It too, is highly entertaining. It's why I bought my DS back when they were cool.

4. Mortal Kombat- The old school 64 version was my favorite. I didn't care that most characters were just Scorpion with a different color costume, the game was awesome. Also, the theme song is still among my favorite songs.

3. Spider Man 2- Because it rocked, and anyone who played it will agree with me.

2. Kingdom Hearts 1/2- No, not the half game, I mean both the first and the second one. I dug the story, and for the first time, thought ore about the DIsney characters. Great story.

1. Pokemon- Oh man, this game was the bomb for me. I played the original versions, silver, and pretty much everyone that came out after that. Man, I remember buying the otherwise worthless gameboy link cable to get Scizor and other trade only pokemon.

Ah, good times.

I freaking hated Pokemon. I never could Catch 'Em All. There would always be some last godforsaken poekmon at the bottom of some long-forgotten ocean that I could never find.

That's why you're a n00b. Pokemon, as stated, is probably my favorite franchise ever. I have never once bothered catching 150 and quite frankly, find it a stupid idea. I catch who I want, level them up, and rock the Elite 4 until I decide to start anew.

Yeah, but that means you've never actually beaten the game. Any idiot could kill all the gym leaders and pwn the final four, it was catching the pokemon that was the entire game.

Or just having too many over-leveled Pokemon to be healthy. I'd much rather put in 250 hours in one file, have a bunch of fully evolved, leveled up Pokemon, than 496 pokemon and about 400 of them being of no use.

Surfer is correct. There has never really been a logical way of catching them all (Specially nowadays. They keep adding more, and some you can only get by going to events? What? Show my secret shame to others? Never).

However, the two things I enjoy the most are probably: The chase, and leveling up my Pokemon.

I was very proud for capturing Latias/os back when there was only one Pokemon that ran away all the time. And my first pokemon to reach level 100? Man, I beat the elite four like a newly bought drum just to celebrate...

As a time sink, its a tie between FF tactics advance and Team fortress 2, both of which have easily eaten up months of my life through pure gameplay time. As to favorite... its a tie between anything on the orange box, the first prince of persia on the xbox, and Banjo and Kazooi 2 (though that last one more for nostalgia reasons than actual game play, it hasnt aged well to my chagrin)

There's 493 Pokemon, to be specific, but I digress.

My favorite game of all time is Comix Zone on the Sega Genesis. The game was so fluid, it was like playing a cartoon. It bent the laws of reality, heck, it ripped them apart and crapped all over them. In what other game can you literally rip a piece of the background off and use it to kill everything on the screen? Genius. Sheer genius.

I actually hate the GTA games. GTA IV got boring and repetitive after the 1st time I played it.

Well, I'm a big fan of the Call of Duty games, and I play them often.

However, for sheer addiction and enjoyability value, I'd say any of the Bioware RPGs: KOTOR (both of them, although technically Obsidian made the sequel), Mass Effect 1 and 2, and Dragon Age. I have gone through severe addictions to each of these games at some point or another. I've finished Mass Effect and Dragon Age multiple times, to the point where I can now do so in a week, maybe a bit less. I once finished KOTOR 2 in two days. WAY too much free time on my hands.

The only other RPG that really holds a candle to the RPGs mentioned above is Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Got pretty hooked on both of those for a while. Playing Fallout 3 for the first time was absolutely amazing.
