Ah, but having a hidden blade could give you a one time surprise attack. Plus, it's always better to fight using things your familiar with.

Edit: I'm going to assume that we aren't allowed to kill Zaroff as doing so would pretty much end the game. Am I correct?

Alex Mauser, when it comes to knifes, is more likely to use a trench knife, bowie knife, stiletto (a la Al Capone) or a good old fashioned hunting knife.

You can if he dies you'd win the stories are going to be unrelated maybe some of them would be related, like he kills one of you just as the next victim show's up or one gets away, but if he dies I'll just say that was a possible future

He awoke on a pile of the remains of his ship. On a glitterly white beach unknown to him.
